Botanic Garden of Lights 2021

Reconnect with family and friends in the garden illuminated with colorful lights. Make s'mores over fire pits, enjoy holiday music and take in the spirit of the season in our magical garden escape. NIGHTLY: Hot drinks (with spiked options), water, beer, wine and s'more kits are available every night for purchase. Holiday hay maze/snowball pit, photo stops and fire pits will be available each night. Tulsa Holiday Circuit

Welcome to the Tulsa Holiday Circuit – the show that pays! We are an American Quarter Horse Association and Oklahoma Quarter Horse Association approved circuit since 1980, offering six judges in the Summer and six judges in the Winter. Join us in Tulsa, OK every July and December at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square and enjoy one of the nicest facilities available to the horse industry.

47 Days of skating beneath the skyline 14 Years celebrating the holiday 9,000 Square feet of beautifully maintained ice to skate on Arvest Winterfest The time has come to bundle up and enjoy the magical spirit of the holidays as Tulsa's favorite winter festival returns to downtown Tulsa. The 14th Annual Arvest Winterfest presented with CommunityCare will kick off another season of holiday fun later this month. Named by People Magazine as the top holiday destination in Oklahoma, Arvest Winterfest presented with CommunityCare will be open from Friday, November 19 through Monday, January 3. ​ This year, ice skating returns back outside BOK Center on Third Street. Event organizers have placed a heavy focus on the health and safety of its guests so they will be able to safely experience the magic of the holiday season! ​ Additionally, Winterfest will feature a multitude of preventative measures as advised by the Tulsa Health Department and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). For more information on what we're doing to keep guests safe, see our COVID safety guidelines tab. Over the last 14 years, attendance for this event has soared from 35,000 visitors in 2008 to more than 150,000. This year the annual holiday celebration will be open for 47 days, giving as many Tulsans possible a chance to enjoy skating outside BOK Center while skating beneath the beautiful, gleaming holiday lights.​ Courtesy of Arvest, patrons receive half-price admission for skating on Mondays with the donation of a non-perishable canned good, benefiting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Powered by PSO, patrons receive half-price admission for skating on Warmth Wednesdays with the donation of a new or gently used coat, blanket, scarf or pair of gloves, benefiting Night Light Tulsa. Lace up your skates and take in what has become one of Tulsa's favorite holiday traditions!

Penguin Project Seussical Kids

The Penguin Project is providing an opportunity for children with disabilities to develop creative skills related to the theatre arts. This magical and touching celebration of the human spirit unfolds as these children perform a well-known musical. Clark Youth Theatre and Broken Arrow Public Schools are thrilled to offer a first year production for our BAPS students at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center. For its inaugural Broken Arrow production, Broken Arrow students under the direction of Clark Theatre will perform Seussical Kids, with songs by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. Performances are scheduled for Jan. 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. and on Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center.

With the cast in place, Jeff and Hunter begin a conversation about what to write about. Eventually, Jeff suggests they write about what to write about. They make a pact to write up until the festival's deadline and dream about the show changing their lives. [title of show] -- taken from the space on the festival's application form which asks for the "[title of show]" -- follows Hunter and Jeff and their friends on their journey through the gauntlet of creative self-expression. In the span of 90 minutes (with no intermission) they write and perform their show at the festival and learn lessons about themselves as people, friends, and artists. [title of show] is, above all, a love letter to the musical theatre -- a uniquely American art form -- and to the joy of collaboration.

The Raven Society is holding its annual meeting to select the best mystery book of the year to win the coveted Smoking Gun Award. Because of the prestige of the prize, the membership in this sacred club is secret, even amongst themselves. Each member attends the three day meeting, cut off from the rest of the world at the Dickens House, disguised as a famous author. This year, Edgar Allan Poe introduces a dashing upstart, William Shakespeare, as a new member to replace the recently departed Jules Verne. Spouting poetry, Will instantly captures the hearts of Mary Shelley, Charlotte Bronte, and Louisa Mae Alcott. But romance is interrupted when Poe reads a nasty bit of correspondence announcing that each member of the society will die. Only mystery maven Agatha Christie takes the message seriously, but, alas, it’s too late. Emily Dickinson is the first to die, quickly followed by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Terror stalks the meeting as even the indomitable Mark Twain disappears. Only one thing is for sure — one of the famous authors is trying to kill the competition!

Miss Alma’s Rules open at Tulsa Community College April 21st Miss Alma's Rules is a Tulsa Community College Theatre student production which will be presented at Tulsa Community College Southeast Campus Pace Studio Theatre on April 21-23rd at 8pm and April 24 at 2pm. The play is written by TCC scriptwriting student, Pat Wingate and Directed by student director, Levi Smiley, and Assisted Directed by Ian Moore. Student designers are Bekah Nunn doing Hair and Make-up Design, Joel Smith doing Costume Design, Alyssa Yepez doing Light and Sound Design, and Katie Welker doing Set design. The Production Stage Manager is Beth Westfall. The cast includes Ana Nuñez playing Miss Alma, Hayley Longacre playing Tiffany, Nathaniel Vilardo playing Brewster, Matthew Gwinner playing Officer Howell, Evan Paik playing Rusty Gates, and Tyler Joiner is the puppeteer for the Nasty Filthy Cat Puppet. Taylor Terrell, Bryleigh Proo, and Michael Reed are the understudies for the production. Miss Alma's Rules in an official participating production entered in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 6. Woolly Weekend at Shepherd’s Cross April 28-30, 2022 | 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Shepherd's Cross 16792 East 450 Road, Claremore OK 74017 Woolly Weekend is a “sheep to shawl” festival held at Shepherd’s Cross, an authentic working sheep farm, just north of Claremore OK on Scenic Route 66. Come to the farm and watch as the sheep are shorn (given a haircut). Sheep shearing occurs throughout the day. After the fiber is shorn from the sheep you can watch the wool being processed on site. It will be combed, spun, woven, knit, crocheted and felted into finished products.

Come to the farm and watch as the sheep are shorn (given a haircut). Sheep shearing occurs throughout the day. After the fiber is shorn from the sheep you can watch the wool being processed on site. The Duttons are international touring and recording artists who perform bluegrass to classical music and everything in between. Their show features a variety of instruments, including violin, guitar, bass, viola, banjo, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica, and drums, among others. The Duttons have garnered awards and recognition in national fiddling contests, classical violin competitions, and as studio musicians. In addition to their instrumental virtuosity, the Duttons are accomplished singers and dancers and have been recognized as superb vocal talents. Behind the scenes, the Duttons collaborate to create unique production ideas for their crowd-pleasing show, which is produced by the family, including choreography, musical arrangement, technical support, and marketing. Dean and Sheila Dutton were not professional musicians and they certainly weren't planning on raising their children as such, but when they realized that music was beginning to define who they were as a family, they embraced it wholeheartedly. Since that decision to pursue a career in music was made in 1991, the Duttons as a whole have not looked back and have gone on to enjoy a successful touring career and music business. Today, they own their own theater in Branson, Missouri, where they perform over 300 shows a year. They also own the hotel, restaurant, and gift shop associated with the theater, and another theater in Mesa, Arizona, where they perform from December through April. While the Duttons' musical talent is immediately obvious, what sets them apart from most shows is their ability to connect with their audiences. People are fascinated by the all-in-the-family performers whose love for each other and for what they share is definitely unique. "I, for one, have never witnessed anything like this instant rapport between performers and ticket buyers – and I've been attending concerts for almost six decades," said critic Mike Kerverlas of the Sumter, S.C. Item. "In short, the Duttons are showmanship personified."

Living life as a Christian is like building a house. It’s a process full of steps and challenges. At each point of construction, there is a goal for that specific point that then fits into the larger concept of the house. This is also true for us as Christians. We are all an ongoing construction project and all of us are “Unfinished.” We may be at a different point of our construction process than those around us and that is okay! Through this camp, we want students to be able to find where they are in the process of following Jesus, as well as look to where they are going. Some may need to hear that they need to do a little demolition in some areas of their life to build a stronger more personal relationship with God. We also want them to know that unfinished does not mean stagnant. Our relationship with God should be ever-growing and ever-evolving. Wherever they are in their spiritual development, we want students to know that they are valuable and their relationship with God is worth the time and labor.
