Pink the Ville

Don all of the pink gear you can muster and Pink the Ville at Family Healthcare Clinic's Annual Miles for Mammograms 5K event. Starting and ending at Tower Center Unity Square in Bartlesville, competitors can choose from three ways to join the 5K fun: Timed Run, Fun Walk or Sleepin’ In. The top three finishers in each group will receive medals, and awards to runners will be presented by gender and age group, including youth, and overall male and female. Competitors will receive a T-shirt with their registration and the first 300 registrants will snag runner swag bags. One most "Pinked Out" individual and team will also take home special prizes. Don't miss out on this fun race for a good cause in Bartlesville.

Fall Festival & Dick Tracy Birthday Celebration

This event features activities to keep you busy all day with axe throwing, face painting, a cornhole tournament and more. Before you leave, catch the chili cook-off and feast on a variety of tasty takes on the traditional dish. As part of the Fall Festival, join in the Dick Tracy Birthday Celebration honoring the Dick Tracy comics. The cartoon, created by Pawnee native Chester Gould, debuted in 1931 featuring Detective Dick Tracy pursuing criminals throughout the Midwest. Celebrate this timeless cartoon by cutting into a birthday cake and cheering on the festival parade of regional law enforcement. Guthrie Crazy Days

BaseCamp Camping & Music Festival

October 1-2, 2022

Explore the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area during the annual BaseCamp Camping & Music Festival in Tulsa. Thousands of visitors are invited to pitch their tent on Turkey Mountain for one night only at this special family-oriented outdoor experience. Bring the kids to BaseCamp, and sit around the bonfire while free live music fills the forest with sound. Enjoy music from headlining band Klondike 5 and opening acts Steve Liddell and Julie Tidholm as you camp out on the lawn. For those interested in a hike through the Turkey Mountain Wilderness Area, join in the Glow Hike during the evening. Thousands of glow sticks are hung from trees lighting the way for visitors to wander through the forest. A night filled with adventure and fun awaits you at BaseCamp. Hours Festival begins Saturday at 4pm and ends Sunday at 11am.

Turn the game Clue into a play and you have the masterfully entertaining Murder’s in the Heir!’ Almost every character in this hilarious mystery has the weapon, opportunity, and motive to commit the unseen murder. And it’s up to our audience to decide who actually did it! Each of the heirs to the tyrannical billionaire Simon Starkweather has the means and the motive to do away with him. Starkweather gathers his family and employees to announce the contents of his will. His lawyer, Lois van Zandt, reveals that he has bequeathed vast fortunes to his befuddled niece Fiona, her playboy son Jordan, his great-niece Paula (a Southern belle) and his grandson Simon III, as well as to his many servants. Then Lois delivers the bombshell! Within hours this will become invalid. Of course, the rejected heirs are not pleased, so it’s not surprising when they roam the old mansion carrying such items as an ax, a gun, and poison. Predictably, the lights go out, and Simon is discovered murdered. The play’s unique ending, utilizing secret ballots gathered at intermission from the audience, determines the killer in this Billy St. John maze of murder. The BACP is pleased to welcome back award-winning director Martha Cherbini as the director for this show. Martha has directed several shows at the BACP over the years – perhaps most notably “Gin Game,” which she and her cast took to state, national, and international theatre contests. She has assembled an extraordinary cast of characters! THE SPOTLIGHT SERIES THE MANHATTAN TRANSFER- 50TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR

Beginning with their first performances in the early 1970s, THE MANHATTAN TRANSFER have become the cornerstones of contemporary music. Originally launched by Tim Hauser in 1969, Hauser, Alan Paul, Janis Siegel and Laurel Masse were the group by 1972. Cheryl Bentyne joined the group in 1979 after Laurel Masse left. Known for their amazing harmony and versatility, incorporating pop, jazz, R&B, rock and roll, swing, symphonic, and a cappella music, the group was signed by the legendary Ahmet Ertegun to Atlantic Records. The group made their recording debut with their self-titled album in 1975. Route 66 Flywheelers Gas Engine & Tractor Show

Poteau Balloon Fest

The Poteau Balloon Fest is an annual community celebration featuring hot air balloons, tethered balloon rides and glows, a mud pit race, arts and crafts booths, games, carnival rides and much more. Each evening, balloons line up for an exciting balloon glow as the hot air balloons perform via burns, flickers and the wave. A wide variety of events will be held in conjunction with the event. Balloons will be in a special area during non-flight times. Pilots will be explaining the art of ballooning and let the public get a feel of being in a basket and how the burners heat up the balloon causing the balloon to rise. Balloon pilots will also be handing out cards with information about their balloon. Several other attractions will be present at the festival including an extreme BMX stunt team, monster truck rides, helicopter rides and more. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the fun. All events are weather permitting. If balloons are not able to fly, pilots will be available to answer questions about hot air balloons. Pleasant Valley Farms Pumpkin Patch in Sand Springs grows one of the largest variety of pumpkins and winter squash in Oklahoma. Children can participate in hands-on activities and educational exhibits from museums. Skilled experts will demonstrate metal engraving, silversmithing, beading, wire wrapping and more. See a variety of treasures from dealers across the globe including gemstones, rough rock, minerals, crystals and fossils. The Oklahoma Mineral & Gem Show will feature 35 vendors.
