Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd's Cross & Heart of the Shepherd

Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross & Heart of the Shepherd September 26 – November 4, 2023 Tuesday – Saturday 9:00 am - 6:30 pm Open Monday, October 30th Join Shepherd’s Cross and Heart of the Shepherd for their annual Pumpkin Festival. Enjoy a peaceful day in the country at an authentic working sheep farm, located just north of Claremore off Route 66. Filled with family-friendly activities with no scares. Loads of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors for purchase, starting at $1.50 each. Admission and parking are free. The only pay-for activity is the Wagon Ride. Enjoy a tractor-pulled wagon ride on a ramp-loading trailer through the hay meadow. Wagon ride tickets are available for $6.50 per person; 2 and under are free. Wagon rides are every 30 minutes. There are over 60 free activities to enjoy on the farm. Explore the walk-through Pumpkin Patch with Hay Maze and Game Area. Pet sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, and alpacas in the Farm Animal Barn petting area. Walk the Bible Garden and see pumpkins growing on the vine surrounded by sunflowers and fall flowers. All new this year is our QR Code Scavenger Hunt. Look around the farm for QR codes to scan and watch short videos about farming and shepherding. Pumpkin Packages are available to purchase, which include a pumpkin (size of pumpkin varies with type of package), wagon ride, and a take-home craft or bring some old clothes to make your own scarecrow. Packages start at $9.50 per person. Inside the Amish-built barn browse the gift shop with handmade décor, gifts, and wares from 60 local consignors as well as local honey, meat, and eggs; explore the Farm Museum and Silo with the all new animated Percy the Perfect Pumpkin story time, and watch fiber demonstrations in the Wool Mill. There are modern indoor restrooms. Shepherd’s Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility, a Made in Oklahoma Company, and a Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Animal Welfare Approved farm. Heart of the Shepherd is the non-profit organization (501-C3) that operates at the farm. Heart of the Shepherd teaches Biblical references to the harvest, the animals, farming, and gardening. Because of their generosity, admission to Pumpkin Festival is free and operates by donations. Suggested donation is $5 per person; suggested, not required. All donations benefit Heart of the Shepherd’s international and local mission outreach programs.

Guthrie Ghost Walk The Guthrie Ghost Walk will take you through part of the nation's largest historic district, focusing on Downtown Guthrie. Come visit some of the most active paranormal sites in Oklahoma and stroll past Victorian buildings on brick sidewalks. On this 90-minute walking tour, you'll hear tales of spirits and sprites that have long been passed down and told for many years in this unique town. Learn the history behind the mystery and visit locations like the first federal prison in the southwest, the oldest saloon in Oklahoma and the railroad depot where settlers arrived to stake their claim. Extensive research has uncovered the stories behind many of these haunts and sightings, so come experience the charm of Guthrie in a completely new way.

Straight No Chaser: Sleighin’ It Tour
November 7, 2023
Initially formed at Indiana University, a cappella group Straight No Chaser emerged at the forefront of the modern-day a cappella movement and has since sold more than three million albums worldwide, garnered more than a billion streams on Pandora alone, and sold more than 1.5 million concert tickets worldwide. In the fall of 2022, the group performed in more than 60 cities across the US with multiple sold-out shows, including their 26th consecutive sell-out in Indianapolis. Their holiday-themed “Sleighing’ It Tour” is coming to the Chapman Music Hall stage!

Veterans Appreciation Week
November 7-10, 2023
The City of Owasso has a number of events planned for Veterans Day, 2023. The Veterans Appreciation Week will include events such as the Veterans Appreciation Ceremony, Veterans Appreciation Concert, and a free Veterans Meet & Greet Breakfast. The Appreciation Ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial, located at 10320 E. 116th Street North on November 7th at 2:00p.m. The concert will be presented by Foyil Music Studio on November 7th at 7:00p.m. at the Owasso Community Center located at 309 S. Cedar; and the free Veterans Meet & Greet Breakfast will be held on November 11th from 8:00a.m. – 10:00a.m. at the Owasso Community Center.

Bartlesville Veterans Day Parade

Christmas at the Belvidere

Celebrate the holidays at Dickens on the Boulevard, a Victorian-themed festival in historic downtown Claremore. During this two-day November event, visitors will enjoy live stage entertainment, food, pictures with Santa and much more. A Victorian street dance will be hosted both nights, as well as historic reenactments with plenty of Western-themed action. Stop by living history window displays peppering the downtown area and learn about life in the Victorian era while reenactors portray blacksmiths, spinners, wood carvers and potters. Rhema Christmas Lights
November 22-30, 2023 | 5:30 - 11 p.m.
Join thousands of annual visitors at the Rhema Christmas Lights and witness over three million shimmering lights synchronized to Christmas music across 110 acres. This much-loved lights display in Broken Arrow began in 1982 and has been attracting visitors ever since. Experience the wonder of illuminated festive figures like a gingerbread family with lollipops and gumdrops, Noah's ark with animals, 3D angels and reindeer, a Christmas tree forest, a 50-figure nativity scene and more. Visitors to the Rhema Christmas Lights can drive through the lights in their own vehicle, get out of the car and walk around the park, or view the spectacular displays from a horse-drawn carriage. Don't miss the Rhema Park bridge, complete with over 90,000 lights draped across the bridge alone. Synchronized to both classic and modern Christmas music, these lights have delighted visitors of all ages. While there, enjoy concessions that include cups of hot chocolate, piping hot coffee or sweet apple cider while venturing into the displays. Popcorn, funnel cakes and other treats will also be available. Admission to Rhema Christmas Lights is free; however, donations are appreciated.

Claremore Lake Lights
November 22-30, 2023 | 6 p.m.
Claremore Lake Lights will return for the second year! Starting on November 22, residents and visitors can drive through the Claremore Lake Park and experience the Christmas lights and displays from the comfort of their warm vehicle. Lights will begin each night at dusk and remain on until 10:00p.m. through January 6, 2024. The Claremore Lake lights will begin at the Blue Starr Road entrance and displays will be featured throughout the park. Multiple photo opportunities will be available and visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #ClaremoreLakeLights on social media to capture and share memories! There is no cost to enjoy the Claremore Lake Light display.

Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights.

Bixby Historical Society Festival of the Trees

The Bixby Historical Society Festival of the Trees opens Thursday November 23rd. The Lighting ceremony starts at 5:00pm with lights on at 6:00pm. There will be activities for all including hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. Santa will be there to visit with children of all ages. We will be lighting up over 120 Christmas trees synchronized to over 15 songs. the trees will stay lite every night through the season and Santa will be there every Thursday through Sunday nights. Har-Ber Village Museum becomes a festive holiday haven during Santa's Ozark Mountain Village. Bring the whole family out to this event where buildings within Har-Ber Village will be decorated in Victorian style, with the ambiance of the late 1800s to early 1900s. Enjoy an array of holiday activities for all ages, including photos with Santa and carolers singing classic Christmas songs at the bandstand gazebo. From wintery play in an hourly snowfall to sending a letter to the North Pole and indulging in freshly baked cookies, you'll find plenty of fun at Santa's Ozark Mountain Village.While you're there, warm-up with hot cocoa, wassail or cider and browse through a variety of unique seasonal gifts. Santa Claus is scheduled to make an appearance at the visitor center and a gingerbread house workshop will bring out the creative spirit in everyone. You won't want to miss this festive celebration of Christmas at Santa's Ozark Mountain Village in Grove.

The Philbrook Museum of Art hosts the Philbrook Festival each winter, an annual holiday tradition in Tulsa. This all-day experience at the museum features a regular schedule of holiday-themed offerings and activities for the whole family. From the front gate to the back gardens, tens of thousands of lights illuminate the property during the Philbrook Festival. During Festival Days, enjoy a variety of activities, special exhibitions, a community-sourced Lego Villa and plenty of festive decor. The festive atmosphere reaches its peak during special Festival Nights hosted throughout the Philbrook Festival, with lights illuminating the gardens. Guests can also converge at communal picnic tables and participate in fun-filled, self-guided activities during Festival Nights.

Lights on Owasso

Celebrate the Christmas season during Lights on Owasso at Redbud Festival Park. A Territorial Christmas Celebration
November 25-30, 2023
Historic authenticity meets holiday festivity during A Territorial Christmas Celebration, an annual tradition for over 35 years. From a costumed Christmas parade to Victorian home tours, this celebration immerses visitors in the city's lively Territorial period. Watch as decorated floats covered in lights make their way through downtown in the Guthrie Christmas Parade. After the parade ends, the new Territorial Governor will be announced at the post office. During Guthrie's Victorian Walk Evenings, visitors will step back into the Victorian era with carolers in early-1900s dress and decorated store windows complete with re-enactors depicting Victorian-era Guthrie. Pick up some tasty treats from peanut vendors lining the downtown streets. Other activities scheduled for A Territorial Christmas Celebration include the Distinctive Homes Tour, featuring homes decorated in the style of the early 20th century. This event is a perfect family-friendly getaway this holiday season. Make your way to Guthrie to join this spectacular Christmas-themed party complete with live music and local residents dressed in Victorian-era attire. A Territorial Christmas Celebration

Har-Ber Village Museum becomes a festive holiday haven during Santa's Ozark Mountain Village. Bring the whole family out to this event where buildings within Har-Ber Village will be decorated in Victorian style, with the ambiance of the late 1800s to early 1900s. Enjoy an array of holiday activities for all ages, including photos with Santa and carolers singing classic Christmas songs at the bandstand gazebo. From wintery play in an hourly snowfall to sending a letter to the North Pole and indulging in freshly baked cookies, you'll find plenty of fun at Santa's Ozark Mountain Village. While you're there, warm-up with hot cocoa, wassail or cider and browse through a variety of unique seasonal gifts. Santa Claus is scheduled to make an appearance at the visitor center and a gingerbread house workshop will bring out the creative spirit in everyone.
