Oklahoma Renaissance Festival

Take a step back to the 16th century, into the Golden Age of England with Queen Elizabeth I! Over 400 performers and artisans are present at one of Oklahoma's premier annual events, the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. Hosted by the Castle of Muskogee, this event features a royal court, jousters and jesters, magicians, musicians and minstrels as well as many craftspeople and artisans. Living history demonstrations, live performances and great period food rounds out an excellent festival. The festival runs every weekend in May, through June 4, and is also open on Monday, May 29th, Memorial Day.

Kendall Whittier Amps on Admiral

First Friday Art Crawl

Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As an added bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. Hit the district early for dinner, or stay a little later for a craft cocktail best enjoyed on an outdoor patio.

Germanfest
May 5-7, 2023 | 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Dine on authentic German fare, listen to live polka music and watch as skilled folk dancers grace the stage at the annual Germanfest in Tulsa. Held at the German-American Society of Tulsa (GAST) Event Center, Germanfest is a fun-filled, family-friendly festival that invites all ages out to celebrate and learn about German culture. Entertainment will include polka band and folk dancers. Snack on polish or smoked bratwurst piled high with sauerkraut on a bun or try the savory schnitzel sandwich. The three-day event will also feature numerous children's activities and the traditional crowning of the May Queen, a German ritual dating back to pagan times. There is plenty of on-site parking, and everyone is invited to have a great time at Germanfest. You won't want to miss this fun cultural extravaganza in Tulsa. Hogs 'n' Hot Rods
May 10, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Head to historic downtown Collinsville for the annual Hogs 'n' Hot Rods event. Featuring several car and truck categories, hundreds of classic, custom and vintage cars, thousands of motorcycles and vehicles from 1900 to the present, Hogs 'n' Hot Rods is hog heaven for any auto or motorcycle enthusiast. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 200 entries, while trophies will be given to first, second and third-place entries in each category of competition. Hogs 'n' Hot Rods will keep the entire family entertained with a variety of vendors, live entertainment, arts, crafts and delicious food including hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue and more. Let the kids explore the children's area filled with inflatables, or shop along Main Street Collinsville to beat the heat. There will also be a bike decorating contest, a coloring contest and face painting for children. Enjoy a variety of live music at the event as well.

Springfest

Head to Collinsville on the second Thursday of every month (April through August) for Summerfest. Located just a short drive north of Tulsa on US-169, Collinsville is a friendly small town where you can visit with old friends and make new ones. This close-knit community comes together to offer a vendor fair and food trucks in the downtown area, with a free movie night to follow. Save the date for Summerfest (April-August) and movie nights (June-August) on Collinsville's Main Street. Hours: Second Thursdays until August! Vendors & food trucks: 6-8pm,free movies: 8:45pm.

Tulsa Ballet Presents: Signature Series
May 11-14, 2023
Tulsa Ballet will close its 2022-2023 season with the Signature Series, a triple-bill program featuring three choreographers with three stunning pieces. See the highly anticipated performance of "While You Were Gone", a hip-hop ballet by choreographer Jennifer Weber. The program also features a piece by choreographer Katarzyna Kozielska and then closes with a performance of "Cacti," an entertaining piece choreographed by Alexander Ekman. This performance will take place at the Lorton Performance Center, located on the University of Tulsa Campus. Hours: May 11, 7:30p.m.; May 12, 7:30p.m.; May 13, 2:30p.m. & 7:30p.m.; May 14, 2:30p.m.
Tulsa International Mayfest
May 12-14, 2023
Experience an outdoor tribute to the arts and music at the 50th annual Tulsa International Mayfest. This family-oriented event in downtown Tulsa is nationally renowned for presenting the very best in arts and entertainment. Mayfest attracts more than 350,000 people annually with an array of arts, including dance, music and visual arts. Always a major highlights of spring, Mayfest also includes multiple performance stages and great festival food. Admire artwork on display inside local galleries and museums including the Woody Guthrie Center, 108 Contemporary, the Zarrow Center for Arts and Education and Living Arts. Other points of interest are the Youth Art Gallery, activities around Guthrie Green and an area dedicated to local artists. Don't forget to bring your appetite to the Tulsa International Mayfest as you enjoy festival favorites such as funnel cakes, turkey legs, corn dogs, ice cream and fresh lemonade. The festival's extensive food court will also feature gyros, Indian tacos, brisket sandwiches and a wide variety of other global specialties. Tulsa Opera presents: Into the Woods

Don't miss the Tulsa Opera's production of Stephen Sondheim's beloved modern classic, "Into the Woods" at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. In this magical musical, a witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree. Mark May 13, 2023 on your calendars! Supermercados Morelos sponsors the return of Fiesta de Mayo, Broken Arrow's Rose District first hispanic festival for the third year in a row. For the last three years Fiesta de Mayo has succeeded in entertaining event attendees with a fantastic day of family fun! In keeping with an authentic representation of Hispanic culture, the festival previously known as Cinco de Mayo Fiesta will now be called Fiesta de Mayo. Broken Arrow's Rose District and Supermercados Morelos will again serve as hosts with Vega & Trevino Consultants planning entity. Bristow Tabouleh Fest

Come and celebrate Bristow's Lebanese heritage with a day of festivities for the entire family. Tabouleh Fest celebrates Bristow's Middle Eastern ancestors that arrived in Oklahoma during the late 1800s. These immigrants brought with them tabouleh, also spelled tabouli, a fresh salad dish made with bulgur wheat, fresh vegetables, parsley, mint, olive oil and lemon juice. Whether it's riding ponies, enjoying the kids zone, visiting vendors, trying new foods or just sitting in the shade of the wine tasting area, visitors of all ages will have a great day at this event. Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo
May 25-29, 2023 | 7 p.m.
Make your way to Claremore for all the excitement of the annual Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo. Rodeo events include bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, mutton bustin' for the kids, rodeo clowns and a dance following the nightly performance. See area cowboys compete in steer wrestling, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and more. Vendors will be on-site to sell Western wear and goods to the crowds. Pick up a cowboy hat and secure a spot in the stands for the Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo, an action-packed event you won't want to miss. Rodeo queens will also be on hand to lead the opening ceremonies. Starts at 7:00p.m each night.

MoH Summer Concert in the Park

The Claremore Museum of History will be hosting our first concert of the summer in Gazebo Park with the Oliver Brothers. The event will be in honor of Claremore Public School's long-time music teacher, Buddy Watson. The event will be free of charge, but donations will be taken to beneift the museum. Switchyard Festival
