Community Bible Study is coming to Owasso! CBS is an interdenominational Bible study for all ages and Bible knowledge levels. Currently, we are holding a Bible study class this fall for women and children through homeschool ages. The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary of Sapulpa will be hosting their Annual Spring Dinner with special guest JIM BLAIR, former Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Executive Director and Merle Haggard Tribute Performer. Along with exceptional music and dining there will be a special presentation honoring Jan Davis, Maxine Conners and Willie Garvin. This is a seated event with country western attire. With the guidance of experienced mentors using a 12 week structured progressive schedule, participants will have fun and finish a Mock 5k race. Professionals will educate on form, injury prevention, core strength, nutrition, and safety during short free clinics. In addition, participants will receive weekly informational emails and motivational posts on the program’s RoCo LoCoMotion Facebook page. Program incentives will be given to all who finish 70% of the program workouts.

This is an outdoor event where vendors sell plants, garden art, jewelry and other gift items. While visitors shop, they can enjoy entertainment from local organizations, enter to win door prizes, purchase tickets for raffle items, or talk with a Master Gardener about gardening questions. Proceeds provide a $1,000 college scholarship to an Owasso senior and provide beautification projects throughout the city, including the Owasso Public Library gardens and an Up with Trees site.
