Get ready for a spirited evening in Tulsa during the annual First Lady Nog and Glogg Off. This event is a friendly contest between the Tulsa Arts District's restaurants and bars, providing guests a unique opportunity to sample the establishments' eggnog and glogg (spiced mulled wine) quaffs at one event. Downtown Tulsa is transformed into a festive wonderland during Winterfest, an annual holiday tradition. Children and adults alike will also be treated to surprise visits from Segway Santa as he wheels his way around the main plaza at the BOK Center passing out candy canes and posing for pictures. Join thousands of visitors at the annual Rhema Christmas Lights and witness over three million shimmering lights synchronized to Christmas music across 110 acres. This much-loved light display in Broken Arrow began in 1982 and has been attracting visitors ever since. Experience the wonder of illuminated festive figures like a gingerbread family with lollipops and gumdrops, Noah's ark with animals, 3D angels and reindeer, a Christmas tree forest, a 50-figure nativity scene and more. Visitors to the Rhema Christmas Lights can drive through the lights in their own vehicle, get out of the car and walk around the park, or view the spectacular displays from a horse-drawn carriage. Don't miss the Rhema Park bridge, complete with over 90,000 lights draped across the bridge alone. Synchronized to both classic and modern Christmas music, these lights have delighted visitors of all ages. While there, enjoy concessions that include cups of hot chocolate, piping hot coffee or sweet apple cider while venturing into the displays. Popcorn, funnel cakes and other treats will also be available. Admission to Rhema Christmas Lights is free; however, donations are appreciated.

Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights.

For a unique and distinctly European holiday shopping experience head to the Christkindlmarkt put on by the German American Society of Tulsa or GAST. Held the first weekend in December at the GAST center, Christkindlmarkt aims to bring a true German old world holiday shopping experience to the Sooner state. In addition to handmade gifts from dozens of local artists, pick some authentic German collectibles and holiday memorabilia. Children will enjoy the puppet shows and visiting Bethlehem Village, where with any luck they can catch a glimpse of St. Nikolaus. This year's "Fairy-Tale Christmas" parade begins on Will Rogers Boulevard at the Baptist Church and snakes down to the Claremore Expo Center with plenty of decorated and lighted floats. The Tulsa Holiday Winter Circuit is held at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square in Tulsa. This AQHA-approved horse show features a full slate of Western and English events as well as roping and working cowhorse. Also included are the Versatility Ranch Horse classes that showcase the talents of a working ranch horse.
