Winterfest

Rose District Ice Rink

Skate under the festive twinkle lights at Broken Arrow’s only outdoor skating rink. Garden of Lights 2019 Season

December 1-31, 2019

elebrate the holidays and experience animated displays with more than one million shimmering lights at Honor Heights Park in Muskogee. Light displays begin atop Agency Hill (north of the VA Hospital) and throughout the 130-acre park and gardens. This 35-40 minute drive-thru attraction features displays of deer, squirrels, and birds scattered amongst a variety of trees wrapped in Christmas lights. Animated displays are synchronized to recorded music, available on your radio as you drive through the park, and the Papillion Gift Shop offers hot cocoa, popcorn, and treats.

Rhema Christmas Lights

December 1-31, 2019

The brilliant display of Christmas lights at Rhema Bible Church first began in 1982 with around 60,000 lights and has grown to more than two million lights adorning the campus grounds from Thanksgiving Eve through New Year’s Day. The display typically draws more than 200,000 visitors from across Oklahoma and surrounding states. Admission is free. Additionally, horse-drawn carriage rides are available on a “first-come, first serve” basis, with no reservations necessary.

West Bend Winterland

Claremore’s West Bend Winterland is reminiscent of holiday memories with an ice skating rink, pictures with Santa, real reindeer borrowed from the North Pole for you to see and take pictures with up close, shopping from local artisans, a beautiful 50-foot live Christmas tree and more. Skating, hot cocoa, caroling and more for weeks of making everlasting holiday memories. Claremore’s West Bend Winterland concludes on Dec. 31 at the New Year’s Eve Bash beginning at 6 p.m. with a DJ, free skating, s’mores, a sparkling cider toast, and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Brown Bag It: Tulsa Festival Ringers

The Brown Bag It free noontime concert series at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center happens the first Wednesday of the month. The series features some of Oklahoma’s finest professional musicians performing in the PAC's Westby Pavilion. Tulsa Festival Ringers, Inc., Tulsa's only auditioned community handbell ensemble, is more than a musical novelty; it is an ensemble of musicians who specialize in handbell ringing. The members are handbell directors and ringers from various churches throughout the Tulsa area who want to share their love of music and handbells. Their annual Christmas Brown Bag it show at the Tulsa PAC has become a seasonal favorite!

Tulsa Christmas Parade 2019: Rockin’ Around Tulsa Town

December 14, 2019 | 1 p.m.

Since 1926, the Tulsa Christmas Parade has entertained thousands of children and adults as it winds through the streets of historic downtown Tulsa. First held when Tulsa was a new town, booming with rapid growth due to the then-recent discovery of oil, the Christmas parade quickly became an annual tradition that has continued to be a local favorite for the past 90 years.

Wonderland of Lights Christmas Parade

December 14, 2019 | 6 - 9 p.m.

Join the Sapulpa community for an old-fashioned, festive parade of lights at “A Storybook Christmas,” held in the historic downtown area. Beginning in the 1920s, this highlight of the holiday season has delighted children of all ages, featuring floats sponsored by local businesses, churches, and civic groups. Tulsa Hub Winter Bike Sale

We will have bikes for sale in five categories: $15, $25, $50, $75, $100+. This will include our selection of BMX bikes and frames, tandems, vintage road bikes, cruisers, and mountain bikes All proceeds will go to fund Tulsa Hub's mission-critical work of creating a Tulsa which has mobility equity through equipping people with the education and resources to use cycling as a dignified form of transportation. Rhapsody in Bluegrass: A Christmas Jubilee

Come hear the Trinity Presbyterian Church Cancel Choir in their presentation of Joseph Martin’s Rhapsody in Bluegrass: A Christmas Jubilee. This cantata is a mingling of refreshing, traditional choral sounds with the rustic beauty of bluegrass folk music. This 60-minute work is filled with songs of the season, as well as introspective readings between each movement. The choir will be accompanied by a bluegrass ensemble consisting of a fiddle, banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar, string bass, and piano.
