A one-day business expo highlighting black women business owners, entrepreneurs, and startup founders throughout northeastern Oklahoma About this Event The Black Women Business Owners of Tulsa is pleased to present the Women's Business Expo! The Women's Business Expo is a one-day business expo highlighting black women business owners, entrepreneurs, and startup founders throughout northeastern Oklahoma and provides economic opportunities for their businesses. The goal of the Women's Business Expo is to connect, educate and promote black women business owners. In it's inaugural year, the expo will host 40 black women owned business exhibitors; top-tier sponsors; special guest speakers; classes, workshops, seminars and panel discussions for business owners, entrepreneurs and those who support entrepreneurs throughout the day; and a back to school drive. Topics during the expo programming range from business development, technology, policy & governance, and economic & community development to social justice, health and environmental topics. Schedule includes Opening Ceremony at 11:30am.

Senior Star Round-Up

The annual Senior Star Round-Up is Sunday, August 18, at the Cain's Ballroom, 423 N. Main Street in Tulsa. This popular senior social event features live music, dancing, free refreshments and door prizes. It's a boot scooting good time that raises money for LIFE Senior Services. Cowboy Jones and The Round Up Boys will perform and Burn Co Barbeque will be open. Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at the door the day of the event.
