The Daddy Daughter Dance is an event dedicated for a father and daughter to have a magical night together. This event is casual to formal dressing and will have a live DJ. Snacks and drinks will be provided at no cost. Each daughter will receive a gift. Daughter must be between the ages of 2-17 years old. We have two dance times: 6-7:30pm or 8-9:30pm. The Mummy & Me dance is a Halloween dance for just the kids and mom. SORRY, NO DADS ALLOWED. We encourage everyone to come in a costume but not required. Harvest Carnival—A Halloween Alternative for Children We Have WAY Too Much Candy! Want Some? Broken Arrow, Oklahoma—Friday, October 26, from 6 to 9 p.m., Rhema Bible Church proudly presents Harvest Carnival—a Halloween alternative for children that provides a safe, action-packed, candy-filled party for the entire Tulsa/Broken Arrow community. The event will be held at the Ninowski Recreation Center, located next to the Rhema Park on Rhema’s campus. Rhema is located on Kenosha (71st Street) just east of Aspen (South 145th East Avenue) in Broken Arrow. Open to infants through fifth-graders and their parents, Harvest Carnival offers 80 game booths and a whopping 5,000 pounds of candy. The games and candy are not only fun—they’re free! The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce is planning a family bingo event for Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Veterans Memorial Building at 909 W Main Street. The bingo event, named Turkey Bingo since it takes place a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, will serve as a fundraiser for the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce. Between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, approximately 30 games of bingo will be played with prizes for winners of all ages. Three frozen turkeys, one each hour, and a grand prize flat screen HDTV will be given away as bingo prizes. Additional prizes include gift cards to local businesses, a Roku, and more! Concession items such as bottled water, soda, pizza, candy and other snack items will be available for purchase. Admission prices are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids 12 and under. Admission prices will include three bingo cards per adult and one card per child. Additional bingo cards may be purchased for $2 per card. Dickens on the Boulevard is a Victorian-themed Christmas festival in historic downtown Claremore, Oklahoma. The festival, held annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving, is now in its 22nd year in Claremore. Beginning at 6 p.m. each evening, visitors to Dickens on the Boulevard will enjoy live stage entertainment, food, pictures with Santa and more. A Victorian street dance will be held both nights of the event and a territorial marshals reenactment will entertain crowds with plenty of Western-themed action. Living window displays will pepper the downtown area while an artisan village will feature living history demonstrations. Visitors will be able to learn about life in the Victorian era while re-enactors portraying blacksmiths, spinners, wood carvers, potters and more answer questions from the crowd and sell their wares. Browse through the festive shops and decorated boutiques of downtown Claremore or enjoy a Christmas-themed wagon ride through the town. A living nativity, a costume contest and a saloon featuring sarsaparilla and water will all be available. Come and enjoy such delicious fare from chuckwagons as well as hot dogs and kettle corn.

How it Works: The narrated and holiday-themed Free Holiday Water Taxi Rides will begin at the main Water Taxi dock on canal level, below the entrance to Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse and Brickopolis. The tours will run on a continuous loop through Bricktown, turning around near the Residence Inn by Marriott (in Lower Bricktown), and returning to the loading dock. The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce is busy preparing for the 2018 Collinsville Christmas Parade taking place on Saturday, December 8 at 11:00 am. This year’s parade, which is themed “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” will make its way down Main Street between 15th Street and 9th Street. A parade entry form is required for all entries. You may request a parade entry form by calling 918-371-4703 or emailing . All entries must reflect the parade theme or display Christmas decorations. The top five parade entries will be entered into a drawing for a $100 cash prize. There are no participation fees this year thanks to the generosity of our parade sponsors. Shepherd’s Cross is an “eco-friendly” wool mill. o A Fair Trade Shop that sells hand made products from missions, and returns 100% of the proceeds to those missions, is a part of Shepherd’s Shop, representing several nations. o This is walnut & pecan harvest season on the farm. Farm fresh black walnuts & native pecans will be available at down home country prices; or enjoy pre-picked or buy whole and we will crack for. o Amish Made fudge & nutty treats available o Watch as your pecans are cracked • Enjoy watching the sheep resting in the pastures, as they did that first Christmas night. • The event is donation based admission. Suggested donation is $5.00 per person. • Journey with the Shepherds – Wagon Ride in the pasture with the sheep - as they journeyed to see the Christ on that first hallowed night. Collinsville is bringing back their popular Hometown Christmas variety show for a third year this December. There will be three performances this year: Friday, December 14 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, December 15 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. All performances will take place at Herron’s Crown Opry Theater on Main Street. This Dickensian-themed variety show lasts about two hours, with over 80 performers to entertain you with holiday songs and dances. This show promises to bring you an evening you will always remember and is a great way to celebrate Christmas with the entire family! Tickets are now available for purchase. All proceeds from ticket sales go to benefit three of Collinsville’s nonprofits: Arubah Community Clinic, Dividing Bread, and Main Street Ministries.
