You're invited to join us on Saturday, April 28, for Celebrating the Art of Healing. Celebrating the Art of Healing is an annual day of hope and inspiration for cancer survivors and the families, friends, and medical professionals who care for them. The 2018 program will feature a keynote address by Paige Davis, a cancer survivor, author, and entrepreneur who embraces cancer through the lens of love. She will share tangible lessons learned and tools that helped her integrate her mind, body, and spirit and discover the unexpected awakening of intuition, open-heartedness, and compassion in the healing journey. Celebrating the Art of Healing was designed to promote healthy behaviors and highlight activities that enrich the quality of life for those who face the challenges of cancer. With breakout sessions on a variety of topics, local professionals help participants access the unique potential of the human spirit. Newly diagnosed patients, those currently in treatment, long-time survivors, caregivers, and health care professionals join together as a community on this day to celebrate the healing power of survivorship in our daily lives.

The Kindle the Flame Women’s Conference began in September 2001. But the dream for this conference was placed in the heart of Rev. Lynette Hagin more than 25 years earlier. Read about the conference’s beginnings in her own words: “In 1974, my place in ministry had seemingly disappeared. My children were young, Rhema Bible Training College had just started, and my husband was quite busy taking care of the school. I began earnestly praying, ‘Lord, what do You have planned for me?'”
We go to school for 12 to 16 years and learn reading, writing and ‘rithmatic, but never learn about How Money Works! You’re Invited to a FREE Workshop. Learn how to GROW & PROTECT your money for college funding, retirement planning or simply wealth accumulation - with money you never knew you had! Tulsa, Okla., November 2-10, 2018 – The Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc. is proud to welcome the largest color breed horse show in the world. Colored horses from three different associations will gather for the Color Breed Congress, Nov. 2 – 10, 2018, at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at the Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Color Breed Congress encompasses four separate breed shows into one. The participating breeds include: the Pinto Horse Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America, American Buckskin Registry Association and the Appaloosa Horse Club. With an award budget of well over $150,000, awards will be abundant during the show. Awards will include: jackets from Tioga Territory for class champions and nylon halters for Reserve Champion (with three or more entries), medallions for 1st-10th place in each class, Gist Silversmith custom belt buckles, folding chairs and Kensington Protective Products for high point winners. Scholarships will be given this year to high point overall youth winners within each breed. The scholarships will be redeemable upon enrollment in college. Shorty’s hat cans will be awarded to reserve high point overall youth winners within each breed. “Every year we are pleased to give out great awards to our exhibitors,” said Darrell Bilke, PtHA Exec. VP and Chief Operating Officer. “The association would like to thank our Corporate Sponsors; we would not be able to have such a fantastic show without their support.” The Cash Challenge classes will sure to be a success again, with an estimated purse of $15,000! These are open to all breeds. National Snaffle Bit Association dual approved classes are offered in the Pinto, Palomino, Buckskin and Appaloosa breed show, including solid classes. The NSBA classes allow exhibitors to gain points in both associations, as well as to compete for more prize money. NSBA Color Classes will be offered concurrently with the Color Choice Futurity classes. This year, the Mule & Donkey Congress Show will be held Nov. 2 – 4, in conjunction with the Color Breed Congress. The Mule & Donkey Congress will consist of an array of classes ranging from Donkey Pleasure Driving to Mule Barrels. Exhibitors will vie for high point and reserve high point buckles. Tioga Territory jackets will be awarded to first place winners of each class and nylon halters to second place winner (with three or more entries) and medallions for first-tenth place. The youth high point overall winner between the Mule and Donkey division will receive a scholarship and the overall reserve youth winner will receive a hat can. Besides the horse competition, over 30 vendors will be in attendance at the CBC Marketplace selling everything from clothing to decorations to equipment for showing horses. This is a great time to do some shopping since the holidays are approaching. The pre-entry deadline for both shows is October 5, 2018. Entry forms and more information about the 2018 Color Breed Congress or the Mule & Donkey Congress Show can be found at colorbreedcongress.com. Incorporated in 1956, the Pinto Horse Association of America was formed to encourage the promotion of quality horses, ponies and miniatures with color and to establish a registry for maintaining their show records and pedigrees. Currently, the association serves approximately 78,000 members and boasts more than 154,000 registered Pintos.
