Tulsa named America’s Best Oktoberfest for third consecutive year

Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa has been voted USA Today’s Best Oktoberfest for the third consecutive year, extending a historic run that began last year when it became the first festival to win the honor in back-to-back years.

A panel of experts and USA Today editors selected Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa as one of 20 nominees for this year’s Best Oktoberfest award. The winner was determined by a monthlong public vote.

The festival has earned national acclaim for its authentic Bavarian atmosphere, extensive food and beverage offerings, live entertainment, family-friendly programming and the staff, volunteers and sponsors who bring the celebration to life each year.

Oktoberfest Celebrates 47 Years

The nation’s No. 1-rated Oktoberfest will celebrate its 47th year this fall, when tens of thousands of visitors from throughout Oklahoma and beyond gather at Tulsa’s River West Festival Park Oct. 22-25 for one of the country’s most authentic Bavarian cultural celebrations.

Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa features more than 40 live acts from across the U.S. and Germany, classic German and European foods, carnival rides, adult and children’s entertainment and activities, an arts and crafts market, German-themed games, activities and contests, 11 stages of entertainment, and more than 100 varieties of bier (beer).

Admission ticket packages are available at several price points, including the Autobahn combo that includes a commemorative MassKrug and one beer voucher; VIP Terrasse packages with a German dinner, MassKrug and two refills; a three-course German dinner with beverages on the Himmeldeck overlooking the main stage in the Lufthansa BierGarten Friday and Saturday evenings; and the Früschoppen brunch on Sunday morning.

Gates open Thursday at 4 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Admission is free during Zeeco Family Free Day between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, and children under 12 are admitted free throughout the festival.
