June 4, 11, 18, & 25, 2019 | 6:30 - 9 p.m.
This event is a long-running success for arts in Broken Arrow. Each Tuesday evening in June a musical performance is presented on an outdoor stage in Central Park, 1500 S. Main. The grassy slope of the park provides an excellent amphitheater for the crowds relaxing and listening...and often dancing. Tuesdays in the Park is free to attend and appropriate for families. Recorded music begins at 6:30 for family dining time, and live bands begin to play at 7 pm , continuing until 9 pm. with one break for activities and drawings. The music lineup for 2019 is: June 4 - Usual Suspects. Unique brand of rock & roll, dance, and blues. The Suspects pack a powerful punch and extreme amount of energy that crowds love. June 11 - Rendevoux - Danceable classic and southern rock with a refreshing blend of harmonies. June 18th - Denise Hoey and the Boulevard - Creating exciting atmosphere, with incredible music and energy performing Broadway, country, blues, bluegrass, and more. June 25 - Hi Fi Hillbillies - Vintage rock & roll dance tunes by artists like Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Creedence Clearwater Revival!

Tulsa Fan Drive Heats Up for Summer Relief The Salvation Army and Westlake Ace Hardware team up to raise money to beat the heat. Cookout celebration scheduled on June 8 at Westlake Hardware in Tulsa. Summer is just getting started, temperatures are on the rise and The Salvation Army needs help restocking its supply of fans to help those in need beat the summer heat. Westlake Ace Hardware will host a fan drive to benefit The Salvation Army from June 6 - 23. A monetary donation can be made toward fans at ALL Westlake Ace Hardware stores including those in Broken Arrow, Claremore and Sapulpa. The Salvation Army will distribute fans locally throughout the summer to qualified individuals. Any donation amount will be accepted! Westlake Ace Hardware is kicking off the fan drive with a donation of 50 box fans. This summer kids will focus in on some amazing real-life encounters with Jesus and discover the most amazing truth of all - Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, and be believing we can have life in His name. Each day kids will make crafts, play fun games, enjoy tasty snacks, sing cool songs, and learn about missions.

Reading Partners Celebration

Meet us at the Reading Tree on June 11, and dance to live music by Hot Toast, hear storytimes and enjoy free ice cream as we celebrate the start of summer together. The event is free, and open to the public. All are welcome! This year, Reading Partners reached several milestones including engaging more than 2,000 community volunteers to serve more than 1,700 Tulsa students with more than 55,000 tutoring sessions. Not only is this a milestone for the number of students impacted in Tulsa, but also for the entire Reading Partners network across the country. Totem Pole Park BBQ & Music Fest

The annual Totem Pole BBQ and Music Fest Saturday June 15th, 12-4:00. The Park is located 4 miles east of Foyil, OK on Hwy 28A. The Totem Pole, known as the largest Totem Pole in the world, is a major attraction on Historic Hwy 66. This is the only fund raiser for maintenance of the Totem Pole Park. Folks have raved about the BBQ in the past. If you play and interment or sing come and join in (acoustic only). . Come support the park, have some great BBQ and enjoy the music.

This popular event includes wine & wine pull, a beer garden, restaurants, art, butt sketch artists, a photo booth, and music by jazz great Grady Nichols for patrons 21+. Proceeds support Broken Arrow Neighbors in their daily mission of providing basic needs assistance to disadvantaged BA residents.
