At the 16th annual Senior Star Round-Up, older adults will enjoy live music, dancing, refreshments and door prizes at the legendary Cain's Ballroom. The event is Sunday, August 12, from 2 - 5 p.m. (Doors open at 1:30.) Entertainment headliner Cowboy Jones will be joined by special guests The Round Up Boys to get boots scootin'. Tickets are $10 and are available in advance from LIFE Senior Services (5950 E. 31st Street) or may be purchased at the door. The event is hosted by Senior Star Living and their senior housing communities of Burgundy Place and Woodland Terrace. Senior Star Round-Up is a fund raiser for LIFE Senior Services.
