Meteor Shower by Steve Martin

Meteor Shower by Steve Martin to be Presented at Tulsa Community College Get ready for the unexpected when Meteor Shower, the sharp and surprising comedy by Steve Martin, lights up the stage at the PACE Studio Theatre on the Southeast Campus of Tulsa Community College. Set in an Ojai backyard beneath a sky full of shooting stars, the play follows Norm, played by Randy Bolding, and his wife Corky, portrayed by Mariah Chartier, as they invite another couple over to watch a meteor shower. Their guests, Gerald, played by Michael Reed, and Laura, portrayed by Kira Dees, arrive expecting an evening of stargazing and friendly conversation. Instead, as cocktails flow and the night unfolds, tempers flare, sparks fly, literally, and the evening spins hilariously out of control. In this clever and absurdist comedy, Steve Martin takes an offbeat look at the comic anxiety lurking just beneath the surface of modern marriage. What begins as small talk gradually unravels into surreal hilarity, exposing insecurities, rivalries, and the unpredictable nature of relationships. The production is directed by Mark Frank. The set is designed by Jared Hansen. Lighting design is by Stephanie Stone. Costumes and make-up are by Emily Westerfield. Sound design is by Ally Hardsaw. Stage managers are Sylvia Ortiz and Abby Tarhuini. Understudies are Patrick O'Brian and Evan Grigg. Steve Martin is an acclaimed comedian, actor, writer, and producer whose career spans more than five decades. Rising to fame in the 1970s as a groundbreaking stand-up comedian, he became one of Hollywood’s most recognizable film stars with hits such as The Jerk, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Father of the Bride. He is also the co-creator and star of the hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, alongside Martin Short and Selena Gomez. In addition to his film and television work, Martin is an accomplished playwright and author, as well as a Grammy Award–winning banjo player. His distinctive blend of intelligence, absurdity, and wit has made him one of America’s most respected and versatile entertainers. Meteor Shower runs February 26, 27, and 28 at 8:00 p.m., with a matinee performance on March 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the PACE Studio Theatre on the Southeast Campus of Tulsa Community College. Spring Break at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum

Every year during Spring Break, the team at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum plans a week of activities for the kids to learn about Will Rogers, Oklahoma history and have tons of fun! All children under 17 are admitted FREE during Spring Break. Registration for the activities is not needed, just come join the fun! There is even a talent show; registration is online.

Spring & Summer Tours at Shepherd's Cross Farm
March 17-21, 24-28, & 31, 2026 | 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Springtime at Shepherd’s Cross - an authentic working farm just north of Claremore, OK, on Scenic Route 66 - begins with the arrival of our newborn lambs. We invite you to come watch the flock peacefully graze the pastures and rest by the still waters, while the lambs jump for joy and frolic in the fields. Tour Options • Self-Guided Tour (Donation-based; suggested $5 per person) Stroll the farm at your own pace and enjoy watching the sheep in their natural habitat. • Guided Walking Tour (Donation-based; suggested $5 per person) Learn more about our flock with a guided walk adjacent to the pastures. Drop-ins are welcome, or you may pre-schedule. • Guided Wagon Ride Tour ($7 per person) Experience the flock up close with a wagon ride directly into the pasture. o Note: Must be pre-scheduled. Wagon holds 20+ passengers and is ramp-loading. Bible Garden Tours Spring blossoms also signal the start of our Bible Garden tours. Shepherd’s Cross is proud to house one of the few Bible Gardens in the U.S., featuring over 100 plants with Biblical references. • Self-Guided Tour: Explore our English Country Garden and follow along with our educational placards and map brochures. Our Farm Store is an Oklahoma Farmer’s Market HUB with nearly 100 local consignors. We carry handmade, unique items as well as yarn and fiber produced and processed right here on the farm. Additionally, we carry felting supplies, and spinning/weaving tools. Shepherd’s Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility, Oklahoma Museum Association member, Farmer’s Market Hub, Made in Oklahoma Company, and is Animal Welfare Approved.
Stem Night at the Aquarium

Want to bring STEM subjects to life for your aqua fans? Join us for STEM Make & Take Project Evenings at the Oklahoma Aquarium! Participants will take away lessons about the importance of environmental conservation while creating unique STEM projects they can take home with them. Held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, our Education Team will have several sessions, giving you ample time to explore the Oklahoma Aquarium & visit all 10,000 of our amazing animals! This event is free for all Oklahoma Aquarium members or with daily admission.

Music on Exhibit

Art, live music, and conversation! Dive into the history and interpretation of works of art and music and discover their connections. Musicologist and classical radio host Jason Heilman joins Philbrook curator Susan Green in conversation to explore artwork from the Philbrook collection. Local professional musicians will perform selections of chamber music compositions that connect with each artwork of art in this engaging program of music, conversation, and insider knowledge. Accessibility: Hearing Loop technology is available in the auditorium for visitors with hearing aids or cochlear implants. Assisted listening devices are also available at the Admissions Desk.
