Ok So Tulsa presents "Story Slam" - Theme "Crazy, Stupid Love"

Everyone in the audience is invited to share a personal story related to the theme. If you have a story to tell, leave us your name at the door. Every potential storyteller's name gets thrown in the hat. 10 names are drawn and each storyteller has five minutes on the mic to tell a story and win the crowd. "Judges" are audience members who score the teller/tale on a 10-point scale. The highest scoring storyteller gets a cash prize and an invitation to participate in the yearly Grand Slam April/May 2023. Tickets are $7.00.

Winter Bible Seminar 2023

Mark your calendars for Winter Bible Seminar and Rhema Homecoming! The event will be held on the Rhema USA campus in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, February 19–24. Enjoy the Holy Spirit’s refreshing while being immersed in God’s Word taught by Rhema Bible Training College instructors. Rhema alumni, students from campuses around the world, and people influenced by Kenneth Hagin Ministries are invited to “come home” for this extraordinary week. Services begin Sunday, February 19, at 6 p.m. and continue Monday through Friday. Daily sessions are at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. with guest speakers, followed by Lynette Hagin at 10:30 a.m. Evening sessions with Kenneth W. Hagin start at 7 p.m. Children’s and youth services are at 7 p.m. for infants through 12th graders. The Rhema USA campus is located at 1025 W. This three week workshop will be in person on the OSU-Tulsa campus on Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on February 21st, February 28th, and March 7th. In this workshop, you’ll start songs from scratch and look at previous songs to see how we can shape them into something even better. Learn tips and tricks for getting out of writer’s block phases and connect with others. Registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17.

“Freedom in Ukrainian Thought – Past and Present”

Tulsans seeking a better understanding of the current Ukrainian-Russian conflict, particularly from a historical context, will have the opportunity to hear from an international expert on Eastern European, Russian and Ukrainian history. This presentation is free and open to the public. About the speaker Dr. Remy has published widely on the history of Ukraine. His book Brothers of Enemies: The Ukrainian National Movement and Russia from the 1840s to the 1870s (2016) has won two book awards. In 2015 he published a history of Ukraine in Finnish that is now already in its second printing.

Mental Health and Suicide Awareness Fundraiser Hosted by ALTERNATIVE. At the Alternative, our vision is a suicide, bullying and drug-free culture. We want to see teenagers make it through High School and move onto college or trade school without the negative influences that control our schools today. We accomplish this goal by providing various resources to teenagers such as online programs, events, education, or just someone to talk to. Our building will provide the perfect safe place for teens to come and choose the alternative to their situation, whatever that may look like. Here at Alternative, we will provide opportunities for teens to seek positive encouragement and bring awareness to the change tht needs to take place. Tickets $12.
