Work In BA Hosting Fall Career Fair

Broken Arrow area employers from healthcare, manufacturing, professional services and hospitality sectors are confirmed to attend the Work In BA Career Fair on November 16, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Central on Main Ballroom at 210 N. Main St., Broken Arrow, OK.  Employers are hiring for local positions that are available now. Work in BA Career Center is operated by the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation. The center was made possible by contributions and support of the City of Broken Arrow and Tulsa County.

“Our goal is to stimulate the local economy by connecting local employers with Broken Arrow residents,” said Senior Vice President of Economic Development, Darla Heller. “So many companies are struggling to find the talent they need to address growth and demand we are experiencing. In Broken Arrow we are committed to creating connections between employers and prospective employees during these challenging times.”

Those attending the career fair are encouraged to prepare with an updated resume, dress to impress in professional attire and project a positive attitude.  “It is important for job seekers to take the time to research companies and job openings they are applying to and follow up with them after the career fair,” said Workforce Development Manager, Amber Miller. Miller will be on hand at the fair to introduce job seekers to the services available at Work in BA Career Center, including resume assistance and providing educational resources.
