In partnership with Brut Hotel and the Oklahoma Film + Music Office, The SoundUp Club proudly presents the return of The SoundUp Roundup, an intimate and inspiring evening of music and storytelling at The Church Studio.
This special songwriter’s round features acclaimed hitmakers Kent Blazy, Mark Irwin, and Tulsa’s own Voth, offering audiences a rare, up-close experience with the writers behind some of country music’s most memorable songs.
In true Nashville tradition, the evening unfolds in a conversational, acoustic format. Each artist shares the stories behind their songs, then performs them live, creating a powerful connection between audience and artist. It’s a format that invites listeners into the creative process, revealing not just how songs are written, but why they matter.
The SoundUp Roundup continues Tulsa’s first dedicated songwriter series, now brought home to the legendary Live Room at The Church Studio, where storytelling and song carry deep roots.
“For us, this round represents exactly why The Soundup Roundup exists. Oklahoma has given country music some of its most iconic voices - Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton - and now Tulsa gets to sit in the room with two writers whose songs have been part of that larger story. Having Kent Blazy and Mark Irwin at The Church Studio is more than just a concert. It’s a reminder that great songs, and especially Oklahoma artists, are still the heartbeat of country music.” Said Caleb Voth.
Events like the Soundup Roundup reflect the mission of Soundup Club, a Tulsa-based creative community dedicated to helping songs move from idea to studio to stage while supporting songwriters at every stage of their careers.
