Every summer in the heart of Oklahoma, something special happens—dust kicks up, boots hit the ground, and families gather for a tradition that feels both timeless and electric. The Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo isn’t just a rodeo—it’s an experience that brings generations together, and the 2026 event promises to be one of its most memorable yet.
Named in honor of the beloved humorist, movie star, aviator, and cowboy Will Rogers, this rodeo celebrates everything he stood for—community, laughter, and a deep respect for Western heritage. Held annually in Claremore, the Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo has grown into one of the top PRCA-sanctioned rodeos in the nation, drawing elite competitors and enthusiastic crowds from across the country.
The Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo returns for its 80th year to the RCB Bank Arena at Stampede Park in Claremore, OK, bringing top-tier professional rodeo action to Oklahoma. This event showcases the best in bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and team roping. Fans can catch all the excitement on Friday, May 22, Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026.
But what truly sets it apart isn’t just the top-tier PRCA competition, it’s the sensation of excitement... as if you have entered something bigger than yourself. It’s described as an unforgettable family outing that delivers non-stop heart pounding rodeo action, kid-friendly fun including Mutton Bustin’ and other interactive activities that kids can participate in. Expect music, specialty acts that will leave you laughing, cheering, and sometimes holding your breath. It’s a memory maker for grandparents, parents, and kids where all can find something to love together…it’s even a great “date night” idea! Evening performances close nightly with a spectacular fireworks display.
