OKM Music proudly announces its 42nd Annual OKM Music Festival, a dynamic, multi-day celebration of music, community, and creativity, honoring America’s 250th birthday through an inspiring blend of performances, education, and family programming.
This year’s festival will be held June 5-7, 2026 and brings together nationally recognized artists, world-class musicians, and beloved community traditions across Bartlesville and Tulsa, culminating in a vibrant weekend of signature concerts and experiences.
The festival opens Friday evening at Woolaroc with Under the Stars, featuring acclaimed bluegrass group Balsam Range. Set against the sweeping prairie landscape, the performance offers a quintessential Americana experience—rich harmonies, masterful musicianship, and an unforgettable outdoor atmosphere.
On Saturday night, the festival continues at Post Oak Lodge in Tulsa with Yacht Rock Orchestrated, a high-energy concert event blending iconic yacht rock hits with a full orchestral sound. Featuring Grady Nichols, Chris Rodriguez, David Hamilton, Andy Chrisman, and Alaska Rayne, this performance transforms smooth classics into a lush, large-scale musical experience.

The festival concludes with a powerful vocal showcase featuring Chris Mann in When I Fall in Love, presented at the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Chapel. Blending Broadway favorites, pop standards, and beloved classics, Mann’s soaring voice and emotional depth create a memorable and moving finale to the festival.
In addition to headline performances, OKM Music continues its tradition of artistic excellence through its Showcase Series, featuring three exceptional concerts with the Manhattan Chamber Players. The first concert, Liberty and the Bard: An Intimate American & Shakespearean Journey, followed by American Cinema in Strings, and a third performance celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, 250 Years of Sound and Spirit. The Showcase Series also highlights appearances by local legendary pianist Wade Daniels and the beloved Bartlesville Ringers, offering audiences a rich and varied musical experience.
A cornerstone of the festival is the beloved Especially for Kids Festival, a joyful, multi-day celebration designed to inspire young minds through music, storytelling, and creativity. Featuring story times, live music demonstrations, art immersions, puppet shows, and interactive experiences, the children’s festival culminates in a special America’s 250th Birthday Finale—an old-fashioned family cookout filled with music, games, and patriotic celebration.
“For 42 years, OKM Music has brought people together through the power of music,” said Mary Lynn Mihm, Chairman of the Board of OKM Music. “This year’s festival not only celebrates our nation’s history, but also the role music plays in shaping community, inspiring children, and connecting generations.”
With performances spanning genres from bluegrass and orchestral pop to classical and Broadway, the 42nd Annual OKM Music Festival offers something for every audience— welcoming families, music lovers, and visitors from across the region. Tickets and full event details are available at okmmusic.org.
