Hosted by DVIS, this .9 mile dog walk is meant to raise awareness for DVIS’ new kennel, which is the first kennel in an Oklahoma domestic violence shelter. Dress your dog in his or her finest costume and they could win King or Queen of the Mutt Strut. There’s also a chance to win best owner/dog duo. Admission is an in-kind donation to the kennel, such as a blankets, pet beds, cat litter and stainless steel food bowls. Register at dvis.org. Saturday, October 24, 2015 Ultimate 5K Arena Challenge: 8:30 AM Family 1 Mile Fun Walk: 8:05 AM The Ultimate 5K Arena Challenge is all about bringing the Tulsa community together to celebrate the astounding 50 year legacy of Oral Roberts University. The Mabee Center is grateful to be a part of Oral Roberts' vision and as a thank you to Tulsa's gracious and generous community, we're putting on a 5K race and a Family 1 Mile Fun Walk of the highest quality. We're excited to present a new sanctioned 5K course to the public while bringing innovation to the event as both courses will finish into an arena event atmosphere complete with spotlights, a pep band, cheerleaders and a live-feed on the jumbo Mabee Vision screen. Our brand-new sanctioned course will thread throughout our beautiful ORU campus and finish inside the arena where your friends and family can come and cheer you on. Tulsa Run

Since 1978, thousands of runners have convened in Downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma for Tulsa's most iconic footrace, the Tulsa Federal Credit Union Tulsa Run. Powered by the Tulsa Sports Commission, the Tulsa Run is a challenging race for any level runner with plenty of fun to be had at the finish line. Runner fees: 2K = $20 5K = $30 15K = $40 Don't miss the crowds at the Tulsa Run Finish Line Fest, where runners and spectators will gather for a celebration of Tulsa's most historic race.
