Jeff Stover, Penny Carnino and Vice President David Stover of Grigsby’s Carpet & Tile eagerly share information about the many styles of hard-surface coverings available to homeowners.
Grigsby’s has been the name synonymous with carpet and tile in northeastern Oklahoma for nearly 60 years. They cater to residential and commercial clientele and have an outstanding, knowledgeable staff eager to assist you with the latest floor covering styles and trends in design for your home or office space. They are family-owned and operated. Owner Dub Stover is a Veteran and his two sons, David and Jeff Stover, are active in the business.
Grigsby’s Director of Operations Penny Carnino says, “The hard surface industry has grown in leaps and bounds over the past several years. As a result, there are limitless styles, colors and materials to suit anyone’s taste and budget.”
Lately, designers are using a lot of hard-surface, manufactured materials on floors, walls and ceilings. They offer luxury vinyl tile products that look like wood, but are more durable and a great choice if you have pets, active children or moisture issues.
Grigsby’s carries a beautiful, 3-layered engineered product called Wallplanks TM that combines a high density fiberboard core sandwiched between two hardwood veneers. It has a precision ship lap joint milled on its long sides. The result is a light weight and stable plank that is only 1/4” thick, 5.1” wide with lengths from 12” to 48”. This collection uses a patent pending process of infusing stain pigments into hardwood veneers creating numerous renditions of reclaimed or exotic wood designs that are easily maintained.
While learning what is trending, check out the new ceramic ship-lap tile that is absolutely stunning and comes in a wide variety of colors and styles. If you’re considering something for an outdoor living area, consider one of Grigsby’s many porcelain offerings. They’re harder and more durable than ceramic tile and do well outdoors. polished tile is popular again and there are many beautiful collections from which to select. They carry Carrara, a manmade porcelain marble that is hard to distinguish from the real thing.
STAINMASTER® perfected PetProtect TM luxury vinyl and the feature is now available in products by several other manufacturers. If your family includes a four-legged friend or an occasionally rowdy kid, you’ll be wise to look at products with features that include STAINMASTER’S Pet-claw shield and Pet-action traction. These products are 100 percent waterproof and resist odors from your pet’s accidents.
“We’re constantly updating and changing product selections to stay abreast of favorite market trends,” said Carnino, “while continuing to deliver excellent service to our customers by providing helpful information and the finest selections available in northeastern Oklahoma. And, as always, our prices are very competitive.”
If you’re building or improving your home, search the fine carpet, tile, hardwood and luxury vinyl flooring available at Grigsby’s. They’ve got you covered!
