Senior Management Promotions At AVB Bank Announced

AVB Bank Board of Directors recently approved three senior management promotions. Jim Myers has been named Broken Arrow Market President. Lauren Smith will serve as Tulsa Market President. And, Clif Wilson has assumed the role as Managing Director of Private Banking. These promotions reflect AVB Bank’s continued investment in experienced leadership as the Bank grows and strengthens its service across the Tulsa and Broken Arrow markets.

Jim Myers Appointed Broken Arrow Market President

Jim Myers, Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer, was appointed Broken Arrow Market President and will oversee the lending activities in the Broken Arrow market. With 28 years of banking experience, Myers has served the last nine years of his banking career at AVB. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University (OSU), serves as a Trustee with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Education Trust Fund, is an affiliate member for the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, a proud Leadership Broken Arrow (LBA) graduate, and is currently completing his Graduate School of Banking certification with the Graduate School of Banking Colorado (GSBC).

Lauren Smith Named Tulsa Market President

Lauren Smith, Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer, was named Tulsa Market President and will oversee AVB’s lending functions in the Tulsa market. Smith began her banking career in 2006 and has been with AVB since 2023. She previously served as Chairwoman of the Board for the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce (BACC) and currently serves as a Board President for the Broken Arrow Senior Center (BASC). Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas. She is also a distinguished graduate of the Southwestern School of Banking and an LBA alum.

Clif Wilson to serve as Managing Director of Private Banking

Clif Wilson, Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer, was selected to serve as Managing Director of Private Banking, where he will lead the strategic initiatives of AVB’s Private Banking Department. Wilson joined AVB Bank in 2013 and has over 33 years of experience in banking, with extensive knowledge in commercial and industrial (C&I) lending. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University (NSU) and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Commercial Lending School and Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) Intermediate School of Banking. Wilson is also an LBA alum.
