Tunes and Spoons Chili Festival inaugural event is an all-ages event at the Claremore Expo, 400 Veterans Pkwy., featuring the Midwest’s largest Chili Cook Off created by some of the top chili chefs competing from around the country. There will be four different categories with first place in each category winning one thousand dollars.

In addition, Tunes and Spoons will be serving up world class chili from world renowned Ike’s Chili. There will be live entertainment on two stages kicking the weekend off Friday night August 22nd with Diamond Rio; and Saturday night August 23rd “The Baddest Show On Earth” with George Thorogood. The Expo Center will be filled with vendors and artisans of all types and a Fun Zone for the kids with multiple rides, fun for the entire family. Admission is free to the public with paid parking on the grounds while it lasts.

About The Chili Cook Off

Tunes and Spoons Chili Fest is sanctioned by I.C.S. the International Chili Society founded by internationally renowned automotive designer Carroll Shelby. Winners from this prestigious event will go on to have a seat at the annual championship chili cook-off (W.C.C.C.) held each fall with the winners of each category earn the coveted title of world champion and a combined prize money of $100,000.
