Tea Off Chairperson Patsy Terry advises us to make note that some changes, including the date, have been made for the 24th Holiday Tea Off.

This year commemorates the 24th Annual Holiday Tea Off sponsored by the Broken Arrow Main Street Merchants Association.  Please make note that the date has changed this year.  The Tea Off will commence at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, to coincide with the opening of the Rose District Skating Rink at the Market.  The Tea Off provides a great opportunity to come to town with the entire family and friends, to grab a bite to eat at one of BA’s wonderful restaurants and then shop at local merchants while being entertained until 9 p.m.
You might also want to take the opportunity to take a ride in the beautiful Horse Drawn Carriage from Ava K’s as you wander Main Street for $5 per person.  Additionally, the Trolley from Old Urban Trolley will be making its way up and down Main Street throughout the evening.  The Trolley ride is free and it is sponsored by the Main Street Merchants Association.
Tea Off Chairperson Patsy Terry has told us that there will not be a stage at this year’s event due to the opening of the Ice Rink and that no streets will be closed during the evening.  There will, however, still be lots of entertainment at participating stores, on the sidewalks and music in the streets.  We hope you’ll take advantage of this great festive evening of activities and help kick off the Holiday Season in our fair city.
Registration for the highly anticipated Voucher Drawings will begin Saturday, November 11th, and continue through Thursday night, November 16th.  There will be drawings for 8 @ $50 vouchers; 5 @ $100 vouchers; and 2 @ $150 vouchers.  Winners will be announced and contacted on Friday, November 17th.  No purchase is necessary to register for Voucher Drawings.  You simply register at each participating merchant’s store you visit.
While you’re enjoying an evening downtown, you will surely have   an opportunity to visit with Santa as he walks the sidewalks and wishes young and old a Happy Holiday Season.
Patsy hopes you’ll bring your family and friends to take advantage of this wonderful annual opportunity to be entertained as you do some Holiday shopping and enjoy a fun evening as Broken Arrow officially kicks off the Holiday Season.  If you haven’t been downtown for a while, you’ll be very pleasantly surprised with the continuing additions of restaurants and shops on, and just off, Main.
