Have you ever wondered what it’d be like to dream under the sea? Well now you can. Pack up your PJs and sleeping bags and join the Oklahoma Aquarium for Sleep with the Sharks!
The aquarium is redefining the traditional sleepover with this fun event. Many children at some point imagine a life among the fish and creatures below the surface. Now they can make this fantasy a reality and spend a night with friends sleeping at the aquarium, gazing at fish instead of stars.
If sharks aren’t your idea of a relaxing night sleep, then feel free to slumber next to the seahorses, jellyfish, or any of the other beautiful exhibits. These fun-filled nights begin at 7:00 p.m. and include light snacks and drinks in your own souvenir backpack!  The evening is packed with activities such as a dive show, scavenger hunts, flashlight tour and a family friendly movie.  End the night with some sweet, sea-themed dreams! Breakfast is served in the morning before the adventure ends at 8:00 a.m. Don’t miss the opportunity to make unique, lifelong memories with your friends and family!
The next upcoming sleepover is Friday night, October 14. Children must be at least 5 years old and one chaperone per every 5 children is required.  You can register online at okaquarium.org or email eat0@eau0eav0eaw0 with any questions. In 2017 there will be sleepovers on January 20, April 14, June 16, July 21 and October 13. Registration will open for these sleepovers closer to the actual date.
Don’t miss this chance to go deeper into some family fun! Register today.
