Did you know that up to 60% of the human body is water? The brain and heart are composed of 73% water, while the lungs are 83% and the skin contains 64%  Even your bones are a watery 31%. It makes sense that we should replenish our bodies with clean, chemical free water.
At Kinetico Water Systems, 100% of their business is water, and they have just opened a one-of-a-kind concept store that allows customer to see, touch and taste purified water. Both large and small systems are in full operation in their showroom to educate consumers on quality of water - and, you can drink it right out of the tap.
“People want to know what is in their water,” says Tabitha Taylor, co-owner of Kinetico Water Systems. “It’s important to understand what chemicals are in your drinking and bathing water, whether you live on a street with city provided water or in the suburban areas where well water is more prevalent.”
Chloramine, a chemical made up of chlorine and ammonia, is added to drinking and bathing water in Tulsa, Jenks, Bixby, Broken Arrow and Owasso, among others.
“We show you how to take out up to 99% of those chemicals and serve your family safe drinking water,” said Patrick Taylor, co-owner of Kinetico Water Systems. “Most of our systems are non-electric and run on the power of the movement of the water.  So they are eco-friendly.”
The friendly staff at Kinetico Water Systems is different from the big box stores.  They are water quality experts, not salesmen. They can help you test your water for free, and design a customized plan for your needs.
“We serve all customers’ needs large or small,” said Tabitha.  “If you are looking for a low cost way to filter water in your refrigerator at home or want an under the sink unit, we have great solutions for you.  If you are a looking for a system for the whole house or if you are a large corporation with a boiler that requires a softener, we can help you find a system that meets all of your needs.”
Water conditioning systems can also help those people with allergies to chemicals in their water, or with allergies to certain soaps and fabric softeners.  They even offer solutions for your washer and dryer that require little or no laundry detergent, as well as solutions for fabric softener.
Along with clean drinking water, they offer water for medical and marine uses like humidifiers, CPAP machines, aquariums and other equipment that requires deionized water.
“Our water softening systems also help the longevity of household and commercial appliances,” said Patrick.  “Not only are there no more hard-water spots on your shower doors or glasses, but your dishwashers, coffee pots and refrigerators last longer with conditioned water.”
The new store offers a public water filling station. You can chose from reverse osmosis, re-mineralized reverse osmosis and deionized water. Customers can bring in their own containers or purchase one for fill up. The cost is .49 cents per gallon or you can purchase a Loyalty fill up card for $39.00 and fill up to 100 gallons making it only .39 cents per gallon. Until Oct 15th you can bring in any size container up to 5 gallons and fill it up for free on your first visit.
Kinetico Water Systems has been your one stop water shop since 1987.  Come by and see them today or visit them on Facebook to check out their free weekly education seminars at ER Water Filters.
