Mailboxes & More Hosts “Shred Into Spring” Community Shredding Event in Brookside

Mailboxes & More Brookside is helping the community declutter and protect sensitive information this spring with a special document shredding event, “Shred Into Spring,” taking place on Saturday, April 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at their Brookside location at 3807-B South Peoria Ave.

Community members are invited to safely dispose of old documents while enjoying a convenient and affordable service. The first 15 pounds of documents will be shredded for free per person, with additional shredding available at a discounted rate of just $0.50 per pound. That is half of the regular price of $1 per pound.

To make the experience even more enjoyable, snacks will be provided while supplies last. “No limit—we’ll shred it! All shredded material is securely destroyed using our Grade 5 shredder, which exceeds HIPAA’s required Grade 4 standard,” said Drew Payton, owner of Mailboxes & More. “If you have a large volume of documents, our team will have a dolly available and can assist you in bringing everything in safely and efficiently.”

“Spring is the perfect time to clean out old files and protect yourself from identity theft,” Payton added. “We’re excited to offer a safe, secure, and community-friendly way to do just that.”

This event is open to the public and designed to encourage responsible document disposal while supporting local residents and businesses.
