The buzz is electric as the Rogers County Fair gears up to celebrate its 110th year! This beloved event, a cornerstone of the Claremore community, beautifully blends timeless traditions with exciting new attractions, drawing in visitors from near and far. From thrilling carnival rides to impressive livestock shows, local vendor treasures to toe-tapping live entertainment, the Rogers County Fair has something to delight everyone. “The fair benefits the whole county but it’s a pivotal event for local students,” event coordinator Wendy Woody. “It’s a time when the year-long efforts of our FFA and 4-H students get to showcase their achievements.”
“We’ve had a lot of growth. Our numbers have grown from 24,000 visitors to nearly 29,000 over the course of the weekend.” Wendy continues, “We also have more students involved with working exhibits.” Families learn, grow, and celebrate their children’s achievements together, and on Monday night, the Rogers County Premium Sale will spotlight 89 winners auctioning their prize-winning animals for donations from the highest bidders. The earnings will be reinvested into the students’ upcoming projects. “It’s a family friendly event that brings our community together.” Also admire many entries from passionate enthusiasts in many traditional fair categories.
