Matt DeChaine and his crew are highly trained licensed specialists who use EPA-registered products and natural remedies to solve pesky pest problems and reduce health-risks associated with mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, mites, wasps, hornets, scorpions, ants, no-see-ums, and stink bugs.

Will you be a mosquito’s next meal? Research has documented various reasons why some people are bothered more by mosquitoes than others. Factors such as how much you breathe and the carbon dioxide you emit during activity, how much you sweat (the acids you emit draw them to you like mom’s home cooking), what you’re wearing (contrasting colors help them spot you), your blood type (type O is their favorite), and what you drink, such as a beer.

Mosquito-borne diseases take the lives of over a million people a year making them the #1 deadliest animal on the planet (as cited at https://www.mosquitosquad.com/west-tulsa/bugs-diseases/mosquitoes/ , and https://www.gatesnotes.com/Most-Lethal-Animal-Mosquito-Week).

Severe Health Risks

The severe health risks associated with mosquito bites include Zika, West Nile virus, Malaria and other vector-borne diseases; as well as Lyme disease spread by ticks. Mosquito Squad of Tulsa combines specialized equipment with a proprietary blend registered by the Environmental Protection Agency that meets both local and federal regulations to create their traditional barrier treatment, while also offering clients natural treatment options. “Our natural repellent is applied by trained technicians according to product label guidelines. Remarkably, its efficacy can extend up to 21 days, offering long-lasting peace of mind,” Matt expressed.

With an entomologist on-staff, Mosquito Squad of Tulsa also uses a comprehensive strategy that not only addresses current pest issues but stays ahead of potential outbreaks by staying up-to-date on pest control news.

Mosquito Squad’s Approach

Mosquito Squad’s approach to transparency and trust-building involves using body cameras by their technicians during service visits. This practice ensures that customers are always in the loop, providing a clear view of the treatments and procedures in their yards. This transparency shows their commitment to high-quality service and empowers customers with knowledge about the safety and effectiveness of the treatments applied.

We want to be known as the best at what we do, and this encourages us to hold ourselves to a high standard,” DeChaine said.

Mosquito Squad of Tulsa’s dedication to community safety and innovative approach sets them apart in pest control. By following their advice and considering their professional services, you can enjoy your outdoor spaces with peace of mind.

Pest Packages

In addition to mosquitoes, Mosquito Squad also protects homes from nearly all other outdoor pests through add-on services called Pest Packages. At Mosquito Squad, our professional technicians and managers understand the most important part of providing excellent pest control is understanding the problem. We will consistently help deliver effective interventions through extensive training, continuing education, and a commitment to inspection and transparent communication. Because Mosquito Squad is at your home every 21 days during the peak of pest pressure, we can provide prescriptive and proactive services. No other company is present more often and is more in tune with the complex biological environment around your home.

FAQs
Do you treat vegetables, fruits or flowers?

Our technicians are trained to avoid these areas to avoid affecting pollinators and to ensure compliance with our products’ EPA labels. Mosquitoes like to hide in thick, shady, dense vegetation, this is where we focus the majority of our treatment.

Can this harm beneficial insects like bees?

Safety and pollinator protection is top of mind at Mosquito Squad. All insecticides by design have the potential to impact insects, and bees are a type of insect. Mosquito Squad’s best in class training ensures all labels are followed, products are used sustainably, and established integrative pest management is implemented.

Do I need to be home?

You do not need to be at home as long as we can access the property. If you have a gate, it will need to be unlocked. Otherwise, we can take care of everything without you being there.

How does Mosquito Squad control mosquitoes and ticks? Does MS control other outdoor pests?

Our most popular service is our Mosquito Barrier Treatment service. For our seasonal customers, we treat just before mosquitoes become active and continue until there have been several frosts/freezes. This varies from one geography to another, generally from March through November. We treat the entire property, focusing on the standing vegetation along the perimeter and around your house or anywhere there is shade with conducive resting sites for adult mosquitoes. Additionally, we treat standing water along with areas where mosquitoes feed, breed and harbor to target the complete lifecycle of mosquitoes. Each treatment lasts approximately three weeks due to foliage growth, weather events, and degradation from sunlight. As a result, our technicians treat on a 21-day schedule when you begin in the spring.
