Pathways Prom Returns June 20

A Joyful Night of Celebration for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Pathways Adult Learning Center is excited to announce the return of its beloved Pathways Prom on Friday, June 20, 2025 — and this year, it’s bigger and better than ever! This unforgettable evening of joy, music, and celebration is designed exclusively for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Thanks to increasing student participation, this year’s Prom will be held at Stoney Creek Hotel, offering a larger space to welcome more students, caregivers, and volunteers for a night filled with dancing, laughter, and community.

More Than Just A Dance

The Pathways Prom is more than just a dance, it’s a celebration of inclusion, dignity, and belonging. From the red carpet entrance to sensory-friendly break areas and an expansive dance floor, every detail is carefully planned to ensure students feel honored and empowered.

“This night means everything to our students,” said Emily Gotcher, Program Manager at Pathways. “For many, it’s the social highlight of the year. It’s a chance to express themselves, be seen, and be celebrated just like anyone else. Moving to a bigger venue means more students can experience this magical night.”

Each detail of the event is thoughtfully planned to support student needs and create a joyful atmosphere, including sensory-friendly areas for breaks. Now in its four-year tradition, the Pathways prom is a treasured event that reflects the heart of Pathways mission: to enrich the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community, inclusion, and joy.
