October is full of family friendly events from Horse shows to Halloween activities. Find time to stop into our great community and enjoy some of what Claremore has to offer!
The first week of October is full of events. We start out the month on October 3rd -7th with Rhea Lana’s Kids Consignment at Will Rogers Downs. Come shop some magical deals for the kids!
Oklahoma Buckskin Horse Association will host Route 66 Fall Futurity All Breed Horse Show at the Claremore Expo on October 4th & 5th. Along with the horse show, Friday Evening they will host a social event at the show office. All events are free, open to the public at 6pm! The Rogers County Historical Society will host Overnight Paranormal Investigation at the Belvidere Mansion at 7pm on October 11th! America’s Wildest Monster Truck Fall Nationals will return to the Claremore Expo Center on October 11th! The Matinee show will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the second show beginning at 6:00 p.m. Tickets go fast so get yours today at http://www.monstertrucks.fun
On October 17th & 18th the 2025 Autumn Leaves Quilt Show returns to Claremore Community Center. On Friday enjoy the show from 9AM – 5PM and then again on Saturday at 9AM – 4PM. Admission is $6 and kids 12 and under are free.
The Rogers County Historical Society will be hosting Practical Magic Night again this year on October 17th & 18th! Join us for some witchy fun, Midnight Margaritas and Tarot Reading at the Belvidere. For Ticket information please visit: https://www.facebook.com/RogersCountyHistoricalSociety/
Head out to Will Rogers Downs on October 25th for O.K. Mower Racing Hallomoween! There will be a Tractor show/shine, mower trick or treating, parade of power, and to finish out the event, mower races! Everyone is welcome and costumes are allowed. Stewart Equine Enterprises returns to the Claremore Expo Center to host FallFest II Horse Show on October 25th and 26th. Admission is free and they will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday!
To end the month, we have some Halloween activities happening around town! On October 24th The Hotrod Trunk or Treat will be in the Claremore Expo Center Parking Lot! That will be followed by the Hocus Pocus MoH HaHaHalloween event on October 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Museum of History. We can’t forget Halloween at the Museum on October the 30th starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. All events are free and open to the public. Wear your costume and come enjoy the festivities of Halloween!
