Prairie Rose of Tulsa believes home is more than just a place to rest your head. They strive to provide residents with a rich, loving community for a full life after retirement. From activities to amenities, the staff goes above and beyond to provide the finest quality for their residents, The Holiday Touch.

The community prides itself on being one big family. Whether gathered for a chef-prepared meal or playing billiards in the lounge, seniors should feel instantly at home. The activities calendar offers opportunities to explore favorite hobbies or discover new ones. Prairie Rose’s location also gives residents a picture perfect view of the Arkansas River, a prime spot to catch those beautiful, Oklahoma sunsets.

“I love that this community is like a family, “ said Sales Leader Laura Chaney. “More than anything our staff just wants the residents to finally relax after years of hard work and let us serve them.”

Some of the amenities that Prairie Rose offers include chef-prepared, nutritious meals, with specific menus accommodating to dietary needs for diabetics and gluten-free residents. They also have ongoing social and recreational activities, housekeeping services, exercise equipment, pet-friendly apartments, scheduled local transportation, 24/7 emergency response services, a monthly newsletter, a TV/media and billiards room.

Prairie Rose provides residents with flexible rent agreements. Not only do they have a Rate-Lock Program, but also there are No Long-Term Leases or buy-in fees. Residents are also free to live out their golden years in style with Holiday Retirement’s Travel Program. This program makes current residents automatically eligible to stay at other Holiday locations by reserving a guestroom. There are over 300 communities across the United States. Residents visiting another community will enjoy all the benefits they get at home with scheduled transportation and complimentary meals.

“We want our seniors to have plenty of activities to choose from in this community,” said Office Manager, Crickett Forrest. “One of the more popular activities is our choir, The Luminares. They go year-round and have concerts once a month.”

Prairie Rose not only keeps their residents active, but protected. The independent-living community has home health care provided by Shanadoa as well as emergency pendants for residents to have on their person.

Though a community of its own, Prairie Rose makes its own efforts to stay involved in the Tulsa community. The residents make outings to local museums and attractions such as Silver Dollar City. They are also actively involved in the Tulsa Veterans Parade each year.

The friendly staff of Prairie Rose invites you to stop by and take a tour, today.
