Owasso Store Manager Matt Sprinkler, Marketing and Operations Manager Amity Ritze, and Tulsa Region Sales Manager Rob Winn are excited about the Owasso store’s new location at 96th Street North and Highway 169.

For 75 years, GNC stores have provided America with vitamins, fitness supplements, and health and nutrition products, and have helped Americans meet their fitness and healthy living goals. GNC is America’s largest company of its kind, and a number of the GNC locations in the Tulsa area are part of a family operated franchise.

“GNC is the place where good nutrition and wellness come together,” says Amity Ritze, Marketing and Operations Manager for the Tulsa area franchises. “We have the health, diet and sports products that people know and trust, including product lines from popular brands like NDS, Cellucor and Biorhythm. Our sales associates are enthusiastic and always ready to help you find the right products, and we have certified personal trainers on site at all our locations to help you evaluate your personal health goals.”

Several of Green Country’s GNC locations are new and improved. There are new stores in Broken Arrow and in Tulsa Hills, and this month, Owasso’s GNC, formerly located at 86th Street North and Highway 169, is moving a mile up the road to the Smith Farm Marketplace at 96th Street North and Highway 169. “This is a great location,” says Ritze. “It’s a popular area – there are lots of businesses there – and we’re going to have a bigger store.”

But GNC won’t lose its small-town feel, Ritze says. “We have friendly, knowledgeable sales associates, and you’re going to get great customer service when you come in. Our family-oriented approach is all about getting to know our customers and understanding their needs, so we can help them meet their healthy living goals. We’re also active in the community in various ways, whether it’s through the demonstrations we put on at health fairs or the work we do with hospitals.”

GNC’s wide assortment of products might surprise you. Sure, they have a huge selection of multivitamins, diet aids, energy drinks and bodybuilding supplements, but they also carry probiotics, natural sleep aids, natural sugar replacements and natural oils. And they have just about every kind of nutritional supplement, including protein, greens, herbs, superfruits, fiber, fish oil, natural cleansing and heart health.

“At our GNC stores, we will not be beat on price,” says Ritze. “We want to be the most competitive. So we’ll beat all locally advertised retail prices by at least a dollar.” GNC’s Gold Card program gives its members 20 percent off all their purchases during the first seven days of each month. And all GNC brand products come with a 30-day guarantee.

“Good health and nutrition are our cornerstones,” says Ritze. “Our people are friendly and knowledgeable, and they can help you reach your goals.”

The Tulsa Hills store is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. The Broken Arrow and Owasso stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10:15 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For more information on GNC’s products and locations, visit www.gnc.com.
