Silver Arrow Estates in Broken Arrow has resolved to be more than just an Independent Living Community.  From activities to amenities, the staff goes above and beyond to provide the finest quality for their residents, The Holiday Touch.

“We try to stay up to date around here,” said Sales Leader Beth Ashcraft. “We aim to be above the rest in the Communities in what we offer our residents.”

The Holiday Retirement Community prides itself on its Resort-Style living, showing seniors that you can love your life after retirement.

“We like to tell our prospective residents that living here is like taking a permanent vacation,” said Beth.

Some of the amenities that Silver Arrow offers include Restaurant-Style Dining with Award Winning Chef, Christopher Payne, who has been with the community for 10 years; Housekeeping services, exercise equipment, pet-friendly apartments and cottages with a variety of floor plans, scheduled local transportation, 24/7 emergency response services, a monthly newsletter, a TV/media and billiards room.

Silver Arrow provides residents with flexible rent agreements. Not only do they have a Rent Freeze Program, but also there are No Long-Term Leases or buy-in fees. Residents are also free to live out their golden years in style with Holiday Retirement’s Travel Program. This program makes current residents automatically eligible to stay at other Holiday locations by reserving a guestroom. There are over 300 communities across the United States. Residents visiting another community will enjoy all the benefits they get at home with scheduled transportation and complimentary meals.

“Our seniors will not be in short supply of activities in this community,” said General Manager, Vicki Thielker. “We even have our own choir, the Silver Tones. They go year-round and have concerts.”

Silver Arrow not only keeps their residents active, but protected. The community will be implementing Great Call, a help pendant with built-in GPS, in the near future. This gadget works just about anywhere, even out-of-state, helping erase worries of children and caretakers.  Millennium Home Health keeps an office at Silver Arrow to ensure that seniors can age in place, offering a rather a la carte type of assistance for the residents.

Though a community of its own, the staff of Silver Arrow make their own efforts to still be a part of the Broken Arrow community. The independent living community sponsors a dance at the Broken Arrow Senior Center each month and always enjoys when visitors come to their events. On January 21, they will be hosting Food for the Soul, a Chef’s Showcase at 12:30 p.m.

The friendly staff of Silver Arrow Estates invite you to stop by and take a tour, today.
