A 45 year tradition continues as ESA’s benefit craft show returns to Broken Arrow on October 28 at a new venue this year, St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church. St. Stephen’s is “the pumpkin patch church” at 101st and Elm, a great new location for the popular annual show.
Alpha Rho chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha service sorority sponsors the crafts event 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with new and returning craftspeople. There will be free admission and parking!
The wide variety of booth displays will include holiday and seasonal items, wood and glass gift ideas, jewelry, and garden decor. From vintage sterling silver Christmas ornaments to bird feeders and plate flowers, delightful items for your home or for gifts will be available. To add to the fun, you can enjoy a silent auction, a used books table, and a bake sale. A concessions area will offer breakfast and lunch foods to sustain hungry shoppers.
For more than 40 years, ESA chapters have made St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis a special project; since 1972, Oklahoma chapters have raised more than $8 million in donations and pledges to support the hospital where children are treated at no charge. Great progress in treatment of childhood cancer centers on the work at St. Jude, and Alpha Rho members take special pride in raising money through their fall craft show to give to the hospital. Local charities and nonprofits benefit as well from Alpha Rho’s efforts. Meals on Wheels, Clarehouse, and Broken Arrow Neighbors count on support from the sorority, and regular financial and service support go to Parkview Oklahoma School for the Blind in Muskogee.
Be sure to put October 28 on your calendar. The craft show and adjacent pumpkin patch will provide a fun-filled day for your family and friends!
