In this unique collaborative workshop, participants will create a large-scale drawing of a full human skeleton.
Participants will gather around an anatomical skeleon lying on a large piece of paper. Each student will focus on and draw the section of the skeleton directly in front of them. This collaborative approach will result in a multifaceted and compelling single artwork, reflecting diverse perspectives and artistic styles.
Students will be encouraged to work in any dry drawing medium they prefer allowing for individual expression and exploration of texture and tone. The instructor will be present throughout the workshop to facilitate the project, offer personalized guidance, provide instruction on anatomical drawing principles, and assist with any technical challenges.
Thursdays 5pm-6:30pm Sept 4-Dec 4
1st-6th Grade | $105/semester
Students will engage in music through playing barred instruments (xylophones and glockenspiels), singing, and movement. Folk songs, musical games, improvisation, and composition will be utilized as an impetus for learning. This class is all about exploring creativity and free improvisation! We will have a handful of performances for parents and friends to watch their progress.
No audition or musical experience is required to join this group. Classes are on Thursdays at 5:00pm-6:30pm
Thursdays 6pm-7:30pm 9/4-10/9
Ages 11-15 | $100 course
In this course, you’ll design your own original character by creating a full reference sheet showcasing them from different angles, in dynamic poses, and by using different styles, shapes, and colors.
We’ll explore how silhouette, color, and creative purpose work together to make a character feel as realistic or animated as you imagine. You’ll also include a short backstory or an “about the character” section to help guide your design.
By the end, you’ll have a complete character reference sheet that shows off both your creativity and design skills.
