OK40 Ranch to host Bridal “Barn” Buy and Sell Event

When planning a wedding, tradition says to have something borrowed, something blue, something old and something new.  Brides today are opting with a different approach: just about everything borrowed or made yourself. But sometimes executing an idea from Pinterest is a lot harder to accomplish than it looks.

If you consider yourself a DIY bride to be, you won’t want to miss this chance to fall in love with fresh ideas and concepts for your big day. OK40 Ranch is hosting a Bridal “Barn” Buy and Sell event on Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Guests can expect wedding displays as well as items for purchase from vendors at individual booths.

“I’ve been in this industry for 30 years,” says Ok40 Ranch Owner, Debbie Hunter, “and about 90% of the weddings I see nowadays are do it yourself. This is a great opportunity for newly engaged brides to come and get ideas before wedding season goes into full swing.”

The Bridal Barn Buy and Sell is set to have everything for sale from décor to bridesmaids dresses to even bridal gowns. Guests will pay vendors for any items they wish to purchase.

“I’ll even be putting a few vintage dresses on display,” said Debbie. “We’ll have photographers and other professional vendors there, and I’ll also be giving advice about planning a wedding from my experience over the years.”

Hors d'oeuvres will be served and carriage rides will also be available for the event. There are no admission or booth fees, however Debbie does request that any who wish to participate as a vendor or guest contact her to RSVP.

In addition to weddings and other large events such as church picnics, business retreats, retirement and graduation parties, OK40 Ranch offers romantic getaways for two and relaxing weekends away for small groups of friends.

“Whether your party is two people or 250, OK40 Ranch provides the ambiance of a charming B&B with the amenities of a luxurious upscale hotel,” says Debbie.

The tranquil ranch offers 40 acres of walking and riding trails, horseback riding, two stocked ponds for fishing, and a bonfire pit. The newest additions to the ranch is a tepee and two cabins, each sleeping six, for overnight guests.

“We are in the middle of nowhere, and that is exactly where we want to be. The stars are clear and bright, and the atmosphere is so peaceful,” says Debbie.
