Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma served a record-breaking 465 match relationships in 2025, and are on the path to serve even more in 2026. The increase in volunteer commitment has been driven by heightened community awareness and partnerships with community leaders, local businesses, Tulsa Public Schools, and other civic organizations.
As they continue accelerating their remarkable progress, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma is seeking an increase in funds to keep up with the pace of our efforts. Their evidence-based mentoring program requires a substantial investment to ensure safety, match longevity, and meaningful outcomes. Without an increase in financial support, BBBS risks slowing or limiting their ability to serve the growing list of youth waiting for mentors in Tulsa.
Tulsa Area Director, Abi Sutherland, says: “Our team served more matches in 2025 than in any single year in more than a decade. That momentum is only possible because our community keeps showing up for our Littles. Bowl For Kids’ Sake is our biggest grassroots fundraising campaign, and the support you give directly protects our ability to keep growing instead of scaling back. We’re excited to celebrate what we’ve accomplished together and to keep standing up for strong outcomes for Littles across Tulsa.”
Get started by registering your six-person fundraising team at bfkstulsa.org. Whether you choose to fundraise through bake sales, fitness challenges, or on social media, all roads lead to the lanes where everyone comes together at the end of the campaign for a night of bowling, prizes, and celebration on August 4 at Andy B’s.
