Hominy, Oklahoma

Hominy is a place where oil and cattle industries blend with Native American influence to create a cultural heritage that is truly unique. Steeped in history, it was once home to the Hominy Indians Profession Football Team, a group of primarily Native American players who beat the New York Giants in an exhibition game in 1927.
