2021 Fireworks Shows & Events A Guide to the Greatest Fireworks Shows and Celebrations in NE Oklahoma!

Coming this summer, skies across Green Country will be aglow with Fourth of July fireworks displays of all sizes, and some will have extra festivities to enjoy!  This year’s celebrations are sure to be epic, so now is the time to plan which events you will experience with family and friends. 

June 26, 2021: Coweta Patriotic Festival, West of Coweta HS Stadium  Kick-off the Fourth of July festivities early at this fun-for-the-whole-family event!  Starting at 6 p.m., food vendors, inflatables, games, a live band, and more will lead up to the grand finale firework extravaganza at dark!  For more information, check out their website at www.cityofcoweta-ok.gov.

July 1, 2021: New Orleans Square Block Party, 720 W. New Orleans, Broken Arrow HomeChurch will host this free event at Cypress Place in New Orleans Square from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with live music, a car show, a steak cook-off and a firework show!  More information can be found on their Facebook page @neworleanssquarebrokenarrow.

July 2, 2021: Bixby Freedom Celebration, Bentley Sports Complex  From 7 p.m.-10 p.m., this free, communitywide, family-friendly event will host food vendors, representation of several military branches, and will incorporate a public swearing in ceremony of new recruits at 8:45 p.m.  The spectacular fireworks display will begin at 9:45 p.m., and can be seen from miles around. July 3, 2021: City of Sand Springs Fireworks Show, Case Community Park in Sand Springs This exciting event is free to the public and will host local live music, food vendors and a brilliant, grand-finale fireworks display at dusk. The beautiful city park also provides a green space for lounging and activities, and a splash pad. Bring lawn chairs, frisbees and blankets, and enjoy a special evening in Sand Springs. July 3, 2021: Claremore Fireworks Spectacular, Claremore Lake Park  The City of Claremore will host their 21st annual event at the beautiful Claremore Lake Park, beginning with a Kids Fishing Derby starting at 7 a.m.  The park will close at 11 a.m. and reopen at 6 p.m.  The National Anthem will play with a flag raising at 6:30 p.m., and then a D.J will begin playing for a fun night with some concessions, and a fantastic firework display at 9:30 p.m.  Find more information at www.claremorecity.com.

July 3, 2021: Haskell Lakefest, Haskell Lake This incredible, annual tradition will include a fishing derby that will begin at 9 a.m., as well as a horseshoe tournament, food vendors, games, merchant vendors, and a fireworks finale at dusk. July 3, 2021: Fireworks Spectacular, Lake Eufaula Starting at 6 p.m., enjoy live music, food, and an amazing fireworks display beginning at around 9:15 p.m.  A portion of the event will be a fundraiser for the Salvation Army. The “blast zone” will be at the soccer complex, a 20-minute show that will be 50 percent larger than previous years. For more information, visit their website at www.cityofeufalaok.com.

July 3, 2021: Fantasy in the Sky, Skiatook Municipal Airport  A unique setting at the airport makes for an extraordinary display and celebration!  A huge firework show at dusk will follow an evening of old-fashioned fun with food vendors and festivities. July 3, 2021: Grand Lake Fireworks, Hwy 28 in Disney A long tradition on Grand Lake, their annual Cliff Elliott Memorial Fireworks Show will take place at dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m.  Fireworks can be viewed in and around the Cherokee area, and the display will be launched between the spillways at the Grand River Dam on Lake O’ The Cherokees. The Langley parking lot will be open for convenience. Camping is also available in the area. More information can be found at www.grandlakefireworks.com.

July 3-4, 2021: Fireworks at the Lake, Pawnee The Pawnee Chamber of Commerce will host Games on the Square on July 3rd beginning at 8 a.m., with turtle races and more. Their annual fireworks extravaganza will take place at Pawnee Lake beginning around 9:30 p.m. on the 4th. Visitors can view the display from both sides of the lake. July 4, 2021: Folds of Honor FreedomFest, Tulsa  This massive free patriotic festival kicks-off at 6 p.m. in two locations, at River West Festival Park, and Veterans Park. Free activities for the kids include inflatables, magic shows and Kid Zone. Food trucks and beverage sales for water, soda and beer will be available. Preceding a mind-blowing fireworks finale, attendees can enjoy live music, QT Prize Wheel, FreedomFest Color Guard Parade and Exhibition, Red Bull Sky Diving Team, an aerial fly over by the 125th Fighter Wing Oklahoma National Guard (The Tulsa “Vipers”), and much more!  Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.  Complete list of events and schedule can be found at www.freedomfesttulsa.com.

July 4, 2021: City of Jay Fireworks, JB Earp Stadium in Jay The Jay Chamber of Commerce and City of Jay National Huckleberry Festival will take place July 1st -4th. A carnival, parade, car show, crafts, food vendors, and rodeo will take place during that time. They will host a Gospel singing on the 4th at 6:30 p.m., followed by a firework display. July 4, 2021: Bartlesville Freedomfest, Sooner Park  The Bartlesville Kiwanis Club will host their annual firework display at 9:45 p.m.  Listen to KYFM 100.1 for patriotic music during the show. Visit their website at www.bartlesvillekiwanis.org for more information.

July 4, 2021: Red, White and BOOM, Owasso  The City’s annual firework show will take place on Independence Day from 9:30 p.m.-10 p.m.  Fireworks will be launched from Owasso Golf and Athletic Club, South of 86th and 129th. Find more information at www.cityofowasso.com.

July 4, 2021: Duck Creek Fireworks, Ketchum The annual event began in 1946 and over the years has grown to include a flyover by F-16’s and The Warbirds, and a grand finale firework show at dusk. More information can be found at www.duckcreekfireworksok.com.

July 4, 2021: Fire on the Water at CrossTimbers Marina, Skiatook Lake This annual event will begin at 9:47 and the launch point is just south of the marina. Viewing will be optimal from the dam or the Lake Road above the Marina. For more information, visit their website at www.crosstimbersmarina.com.

July 4, 2021: Lake Tenkiller Association Fireworks, Tenkiller Dam Spend a day on the lake and stay for fireworks at dusk, around 9 p.m.  Other activities are pending. For the latest updates, follow them on their website at www.laketenkiller.com.
