The healthcare professionals at Standridge Clinic are dedicated to helping patients achieve their personal wellness objectives, combining skill and expertise that spans the entire chiropractic spectrum. Dr. Tracy Standridge is committed to bringing you better health and a better way of life by teaching and practicing the true principles of chiropractic wellness care. Some of the issues the clinic addresses include backaches, sciatica, headaches, neck pain, diet and nutrition, exercise and fitness, women’s health issues, children’s health issues, and stress management.

Diane Baker of Sperry had spinal fusion surgery that concluded with a handful of hardware attached to her spine in October of 2000. Five months after surgery, the hardware had to be removed because it began bothering her. Whenever she leaned against the back of a chair she could feel the hardware, and it was uncomfortable. In 2008, Diane began experiencing really bad sciatic nerve pain. “I was always in pain,” she said. “It hurt just to stand at the kitchen counter.”

When Diane visited her doctor for an MRI and CAT scan and was told that there were no more options for her, she thought she would have to live in pain for the rest of her life. Shortly after receiving the news, Diane drove by Standridge Clinic and noticed their sign for disc decompression. She decided to call with the small hope that they could help.

Diane began treatment at Standridge Clinic in December of 2008. “I couldn’t believe how much it helped me after only one month. It was amazing.” Diane had all but given up on ever finding help; now she feels she has reclaimed her life. “If Dr. Standridge can help me, I feel there are lots of other people he can help as well.” Diane also reported that she absolutely loves the Standridge staff and their positive attitudes. Her treatment was completed at the end of January, and she is now in physical therapy. “I trust Dr. Standridge to know and do what’s best for me.”

Joyce Mundy, another of Dr. Standridge’s patients, has gone to chiropractors for back, neck and headache pain since she was in her early teens. According to Joyce, “I’ve lived with pain most of my life, and Standridge Clinic is the first place I’ve been able to find lasting relief.

“I had seen a neurosurgeon, and he said that I needed surgery,” said Joyce. She decided that she would consent to surgery only as a last resort. While traveling on Highway 169, Joyce saw a billboard advertising Standridge Clinic and decided to give them a call. Dr. Standridge discovered that Joyce had a bulging disc in her neck that was causing the severe pain. A series of spinal decompression treatments on the DRX 9000 was recommended. This equipment works by gently reducing the pressure within spinal discs of severe back and neck pain sufferers.

Joyce’s DRX treatments were completed in January of this year, and she is now undergoing strengthening therapy. Dr. Standridge has also recommended a series of home exercises that Joyce will be continuing in order to strengthen and release tension on muscles. According to Joyce, “I feel relaxed and calm after doing my exercises. I was experiencing terrible pain when I first came to the clinic, but I walked out pain free after each session. I highly recommend Dr. Standridge to anyone experiencing my type of pain.”

Standridge Clinic places emphasis on pain management. Both Diane and Joyce were treated with pain management injections that were both anti-inflammatory and physiological regulating medications. “They assist in restoring cell structure by discharging the pain signal and restoring muscle cells,” explained Dr. Standridge.

If you are living with spinal related pain, you too might find lasting relief by making a phone call to Standridge Clinic.
