Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Claremore, Rhapsody Boutique Salon & Spa is your one-stop-shop for head-to-toe pampering.
As a full-service hair salon, spa and boutique, Rhapsody specializes in providing the highest quality services and products from a team of artists with a passion for the beauty industry and their customers.
With the coming holiday season, Rhapsody owner Carol Thibodeau suggests a day of beauty as the ideal Christmas – or anytime -- gift, no matter who the recipient is.
“This is our season for people buying packages, not just for the holidays, but as gifts, oftentimes as an experience to be shared together, whether it’s a mother and daughter, sisters, friends, etc.,” she said. “Our spa packages come in several varieties, with options for all our customer’s needs and wants.”
Spa packages range anywhere from 2-4 hours in length, include the boutique’s most popular services, and may be customized to suit a customer’s tastes – and budget.
From the basic “Relax and Breath” package, which contains a tranquil massage and facial, to the “Escape package, which includes a tranquil massage, manicure and the deluxe pedicure, all the way up to the “Ultimate Indulgence” package, with which you receive a tranquil massage, basic facial, signature manicure, spa pedicure, lunch, a shampoo, blow-dry and style, complete with professional makeup application.
Other packages of varying treatments are available, and the “Best Friends” package includes two signature pedicures and tranquil massages, perfect for a girl’s day out or to share some quality time with your best friend, spouse, sister, mom or someone special.
Initially, just a boutique when it first opened in 2014, Rhapsody soon evolved to include salon and spa services to cater to more customers.
Today, Rhapsody also offers a wide variety of beauty services, as well as trendy and fashionable women’s clothing, and much more that distinguishes them as leaders in beauty.
“There are a lot of things which separate us from other salons, for one thing, we’re in the downtown (Claremore) district, and while there are several businesses all around us, we’re the only boutique, spa, and salon business in the (downtown) area,” Thibodeau said. “We get to be a part of all the downtown activities and special events – all the food truck events, Dickens on the Boulevard (Christmas festivities), and the like.
“We’re very community-oriented, and we do several things to give back to the community, such as offering a day of free haircuts and caring for those working with Safenet Services, or we may do makeovers for ladies who are in women’s shelters – things like that,” she said. “We’re just a hometown salon – I think that’s a big part of our charm. We’re just a group of very friendly, caring artists who love what we do, appreciate our customers, and try to make the business always have a positive atmosphere – I think people are really drawn to that.”
Many of Rhapsody’s stylists are qualified in several areas of beauty – hair, nails, waxing, lashes, etc. – and Thibodeau said Rhapsody is making plans to expand the volume of massage rooms available to offer massage therapies for more customers at the same time.
“We currently have three (massage) treatment rooms, and we’re going to be building and adding two more – we’ve just continued to grow from the very beginning,” she said. “Once the construction is complete, we’ll be able to do couples massages, which is something that other spas in the area aren’t able to do, and that’s something about which, we’re very excited.”
Thibodeau is one of three licensed massage therapists working at Rhapsody.
So, whether you’re in the mood for a relaxing massage, rejuvenating facial, dip or shellac nails, pedicure, a whole new look, or a wedding updo to celebrate your special day or any occasion, Rhapsody Boutique Salon & Spa is your gateway to feeling confident and beautiful. After just one visit, you’ll be rhapsodizing about Rhapsody.
Rhapsody Boutique Salon & Spa is located at 318 W. Will Rogers Boulevard in Claremore. Rhapsody is open until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 6 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday.
