Family fun for all in Bixby will kick off with the Washington Irving Park Festival! The Bixby Metro Chamber has transitioned this over to the Bixby Optimist Club as the host. The Festival is Saturday, Oct. 30 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Washington Irving Memorial Park and Arboretum.

The Festival will feature a Trunk or Treat from noon to 2 p.m. with many local businesses taking part with decorated trunks and treats for all. In addition there will also be carnival games put on by Woodlake Church, pony rides and train rides, along with other activities. Immediately following the Trunk or Treat at 2:15 p.m. will be a costume contest with cash prizes for the winners in three age brackets. There will be food and popcorn and a DJ and music all day long.  This event is free to the public and everyone is invited. We encourage participants and guests to wear a costume.
