Harmony Star Marble – voted Rogers County Reader’s Choice for the best marble company in 2013 – is celebrating 10 years in business at its current location with an anniversary sale. To celebrate, the company is offering its clients a choice of a 10 percent discount off their entire order or a free kitchen sink.
Owner Rex Marsh has been involved in the manufacturing, fabrication and installation of cultured marble and granite countertops, showers and bathtubs for almost 35 years. In 2004, he opened his own business located east of Claremore.
With 25 years of experience in the industry, Rex decided to open Harmony Star Marble to cater to builders and home remodelers in the Rogers County area. However, his company’s reputation for excellence has earned him repeat business from Tulsa, Mayes County, Grand Lake, Skiatook and Broken Arrow as well as Rogers County.
The company carries four different products at one location. “We offer cultured marble, Portofino marble, manufactured stone and granite from the least expensive to the high end,” says Rex. “This is what sets us apart from the competition. You can get everything you want right here, including sinks.”
You don’t need to travel from one business to another if you are remodeling your bathroom or kitchen or building a new home. “From the smallest job to the biggest job, whether it is one vanity top or a whole house, we can work with you to complete your project,” he adds.
The family-owned business with six employees, who have been with Harmony Star Marble since it opened, believes in treating its customers right. “I treat everyone with honesty. I want my customers to be happy when the job is done,” he says. “We have a good rating with the BBB and with local people so we get a lot of referrals. And, if there is a problem, we take care of it. We’ve been asked to fix problems that another company created but would not come back and fix.”
If you are getting ready to remodel or build a new home, Harmony Star Marble can provide you with a variety of options. You can view samples in their showroom, but if you don’t find what you want, Rex offers customers an opportunity to select something else directly from one of their three stone warehouses in Tulsa.
In addition to many countertop, shower and tub choices, customers can choose from several countertop edges. But the choices don’t end there, as customers may also choose from an under mount sink, drop-in or a farm sink. “We can also special order a sink and install it for a customer,” he says.
“What sets us apart from stores who don’t specialize in countertops, showers and tubs, but do offer some of the same products as us, is that we don’t use different subs on every job,” says Rex. “Our employees do all of the work, and our turn-around time on a job is a week to 10 days from the time an order is placed.”
The business can do it all – from start to finish – including the plumbing, because two local master plumbers are available to help bring the job to completion. Harmony Star Marble specializes in custom, quality work to turn your bathroom or kitchen into a work of art that you can be proud to show off to your family and friends. If you’re thinking of remodeling or beginning a new home construction, give Rex a call. “We are committed to quality work,” he says, “and we warranty everything we sell and install.”
