“Metro Builders Supply is Oklahoma’s largest appliance supplier,” says President Guy Minnix. “Here, we focus on providing and installing appliances for new single-family construction, new multi-family construction, the apartment replacement industry, and anyone remodeling their home or replacing their appliances. We carry 35 different brands of appliances, from the very affordable to the most prestigious, top-of-the-line brands in the industry.” Metro Builders Supply features nine showrooms in four states, and is growing in new markets.

“The company has been in business for 35 years, and is employee-owned,” says Minnix. “We started out as a builder-oriented business, and over the years we’ve expanded to serve the general public with a full range of products and services. We’re here to serve your needs, and to help you find the right products for your home. We have a lot of regular and repeat customers, because we’re very service-oriented.”

The friendly folks at Metro Builders Supply have knowledge and experience. “We are an information source for consumers because of the knowledge our people have,” says Minnix. “Metro Builders Supply is well-known in the appliance industry, both regionally and nationally. Builders come to us for input and product ideas. Industry specialists seek our opinions. We carry many exclusive and high-end products because those companies know we’ll represent their brands appropriately.”

Lately, Metro Builders Supply has been working hard to provide consumers with new products and services. They now feature Jetta products in their showrooms, and offer an impressive selection of soaker tubs, jetted tubs, and free-standing claw-foot tubs. “We now offer tank-less water heaters, kitchen sinks and faucets, and quartz countertops, and we’re looking at water purification,” says Minnix. Metro Builders Supply services all of the products they sell.

Whether you’re building or remodeling, Metro Builders Supply offers design services that can help. “We’ve partnered with many kitchen designers in the Tulsa area to provide this service,” says Minnix. “Their cabinets are featured in our showroom, and some designers provide onsite staffing.”

There’s a lot going on at Metro Builders Supply. Recently, Metro Builders Supply redesigned their Tulsa showroom, and they’ve added several live vignettes to showcase their kitchens to give you ideas for your new home or remodel. They have also added live cooking sessions featuring local chefs. “Metro Builders Supply is also involved in many charitable events that we do in the showroom,” says Minnix. “These include Cooking for a Cause, the Farmers Insurance/March of Dimes Benefit, Cooking Without a Parachute, and a cooking class with Tulsa Community College.”
