Spring has a way of inspiring homeowners to act on those lingering thoughts of remodeling. Premium Cabinets specializes in balancing quality and affordability, and is quickly becoming a popular destination for new cabinet installations.

Established in 2004, Factory Direct Distribution Warehouse, LLC, has handled many different products over the years. In 2010, they became the exclusive distributor of Premium Cabinets and now only deal in cabinetry related products.

Premium Cabinets’ office is streamlined and efficient. A group of five, led by owner Gary Gullic and his son, Austin, coordinate inventory, design and sales, while referring installations to a two-man crew.

Gary Gullic comes to the industry from a sales and marketing background. “I had a group of old colleagues and friends that formed Premium Cabinets Group and wanted me to join them and help them expand to Oklahoma,” he explains. “I have always been very reputation conscious, and with all the resources to check backgrounds and ratings for contractors or material providers, there seemed to be a huge need for a reputable and dependable cabinetry provider for the Tulsa metro area.”

The idea of providing quality cabinets at an affordable price caught on. “We originally had four locations nationally, and now we have over 20,” Gullic adds.

Gullic explains he has several different types of customers. Typically, they are “individuals who are remodeling or doing a new construction project, house flippers, and contractors in the remodeling and new construction business.” Despite the difference in motivations, they all have one thing in common. “Regardless of who our customer is,” says Gullic, “they all want a cabinetry provider that will give them great service, answer the phone, keep them informed and give them great value for their money.”

The primary focus of Premium Cabinets is kitchen and bath design, and the sale and delivery of new kitchen and bath cabinets to the jobsite. Keeping to the niche they know best, Premium Cabinets avoids projects involving cabinet repair; they specialize in replacing existing cabinets with new, quality installations.

In order to remain focused on customer needs and provide the best service at the lowest price, Premium Cabinets refers installations to a trustworthy contractor. “We have a fantastic installer named Terry Allen, who is a 30-year trim carpenter veteran,” Gullic says. “Terry has been doing a majority of our installations for over three years now. He is fast, efficient, and knowledgeable.”

Premium Cabinets is committed to providing customers with a stellar service experience, and does everything possible to minimize distractions during the design process. Because their location is primarily a working warehouse and production facility, Gullic and his team prefer customers make an appointment for design consultations. They understand time is valuable, and strive to make the most of a visit with clients and maximize the number of jobs they deliver each week.

“The time we spend with customers is focused on discovering their needs and wants, and helping them design a kitchen that fits both their needs and their budget,” explains Gullic. “If we get interrupted from walk-ins, it breaks up the flow and can be a distraction.” With three design areas and a display area for their products, Premium Cabinets’ warehouse is best suited for those prepared to work directly with designers and move toward project completion.
