Melanie Hasty-Grant and Jeanette North organized The Ultimate Dinner Party.
Owasso community leaders and residents came together on Thursday, October 11, for a fun evening of mingling, fabulous food and an inspiring guest speaker. The Ultimate Dinner Party, held at the Bailey Educational Foundation at Bailey Medical Center, carried a theme of living life to its full potential despite surrounding circumstances. Jim Stovall, a blind author, motivated guests with his story about his journey through life as a blind man. In addition to a gourmet, four-course meal, guests enjoyed copies of “The Ultimate Life,” the latest of Stovall’s 13 books.
“The goal of this ‘friendraiser’ was to inspire guests to invest in others and in the community,” says Melanie Hasty-Grant about The Ultimate Dinner Party. Hasty-Grant, owner of Waterstone Private Wealth Management, worked with Jeanette North, executive director of Owasso Community Resources, to put together the event.
The Ultimate Dinner Party benefited Owasso Community Resources, an organization that helps people in need through its food pantry, utility assistance, youth and adult counseling and more. Sponsors of the event include Waterstone Private Wealth Management, Bailey Educational Foundation, Bailey Medical Center, Buss Family Trust, Hartford Insurance, Loy’s Photography, Lynn and Barbara Owens and The Market at Owasso.
Loy Payne of Loy’s Photography helped sponsor the event.
