Making tile look new, while saving people money, are the two things that Kent Kantor does best. He has been doing it for more than 14 years with his business, Grout Care of Tulsa.
“We are Tulsa’s only grout and tile maintenance company,” he explains. Grout Care of Tulsa specializes in four things: They clean tile and grout, seal tile and grout, regrout showers, and color seal kitchen floors. They provide a budget-friendly alternative to ripping out tile and replacing it.
“We can make tile and grout look almost new,” says Kent, “for just a fraction of what replacement would cost.” Thousands of customers have given him a call before making the decision to start over. And they are glad they did.
One recent customer came to him with a challenge. She had gone to a local tour of homes, where she saw a kitchen floor design that had the modern look she wanted. The new floor would cost more than $3,000 and tie up her kitchen for at least a week. Fortunately, she called Kent before making the final decision. He showed her how a few minor design changes and Grout Care’s color sealing process could give her the look she wanted. She got the showcase floor in a day for less than $500. “The workmanship was done right the first time, and the tile and grout looked new again,” she said of the finished product.
Kent explains that changing grout color is one of the easiest and most economical ways to update a kitchen floor or backsplash. Grout Care can produce just about any color that a homeowner can imagine – from dark to light or light to dark. All color is sealed with a lifetime warranty that makes cleaning as simple as wiping with a damp mop or sponge.
Many homeowners find cracks and mold and immediately think their tubs and showers need to be replaced. That is far from accurate. Grout Care of Tulsa provides the tools, the products and the skills to efficiently and cost-effectively handle the problem. “We can refurbish tubs or showers to their original condition at a cost of about 20 percent of replacement,” says Kent.
He urges homeowners to take a look and give him a call at the very first sign a problem may be in the making: a small crack or hole; worn, loose or missing grout; a bit of mold in the tub or shower area; or worn caulking. Although they may not seem like anything serious to a casual observer, these are all signs of subsurface water. In time, this accumulation of water, dirt and debris that you don’t see not only damages the grout and tile, but the entire wall behind it. Then homeowners wish they had called Kent sooner.
Even homes as new as two years old have had grout problems. Age makes no difference. But the length of time that a problem exists can make a big difference in damage and repair costs. “We make grout care easy,” says Kent. Just one call, any time, will get him to a home for a free estimate. About 15 minutes is all it takes. And there is no expiration on the price estimate. Whenever the customer is ready, so are Kent and his crew. Nearly all jobs are completed in a day.
Saving customers money, work and worry are part of the service at Grout Care of Tulsa. Before making the commitment to replace any tiled area, call Kent at (918) 748-3030.
