    The family-owned business is staffed by eight licensed ­insurance agents and a file clerk. Steve and Terrie Neely handle the operations and management of the agency while their son, Ryan, focuses on financial, ­retirement and estate planning services. Karly Elnes and twin sisters Chrissy Troyer and Courtney Harrison handle ­personal, individual and family coverage. Commercial customers can count on agents Jill Nanney and Dana Ingersoll.     Flooding is the most ­common natural disaster in the United States, yet so many ­people are not protected. Many customers are not aware that simply having homeowner’s insurance will not cover them against flooding. For that, they are required to purchase a ­separate flood insurance policy.

    FEMA has recently updated the floodplain map for Rogers County. This has required many people to add flood insurance to their existing homeowner’s ­policy. Neely Insurance and Financial Services believes it is something all property owners should consider.

    “Some people think they are ineligible for flood insurance because of where they live or their mortgage status, but that’s a misconception,” said Terrie. “The truth is, most property owners can get flood insurance for their home or business, even if their property has flooded in the past.”

Agents provide their customers with the proper ­information about their flood risk and protection options and help them make informed ­decisions that will protect their financial investments.

Then their assigned agent shops all markets from several different companies, checks all the companies’ ratings online, looks for any available discounts and accesses the best policy at the best price to meet that customer’s needs.
