There is a new location for one of the Tulsa area’s favorite unique boutiques, Signature Interiors, Flowers and Gifts. This will be their last move, since owner and designer Debbie Hunter bought the building where the dazzling place now resides. Debbie’s mind is now at rest, not having to worry about moving again, and her customers are happy with their new location at 151st and Memorial in Bixby.

The new store is a place that every person in Tulsa and surrounding areas needs to visit. When customers walk in, the aroma of flowers and candles gently permeates the air. Beautiful colors, stunning pieces of art, extraordinary pieces of furniture, and fresh and silk flower arrangements, among so many other items, can leave a client spellbound. A professional floral or interior designer is always on the floor to guide customers. Debbie says, “There are no high pressure sales. I want our clients to have an experience.”

Serving the Tulsa area for over 17 years, Signature Interiors, Flowers and Gifts has established itself as a one-of-a-kind, full-service boutique that concentrates on customer service and delivering exquisite results. This store can do whatever its clients want. They truly do it all: weddings, corporate events, interior design, floral design, gifts. They can even cater their events, should a client need that service. Debbie explains that they see each project through “from concept to completion.”

Debbie Hunter is a design visionary. Being inspired by her 7th grade art teacher and discovering her passion early on, Debbie planned her future to become an interior designer. Debbie holds a degree in interior design from OSU and has more than 27 years of design experience. Debbie served 11 years as principal designer at an interior design company in Chicago before establishing Signature Interiors in Tulsa. Her work has been recognized in Better Homes & Gardens, Windows Walls, and the Chicago Tribune. The forward-thinking design expert revealed that she plans on opening up her dream home, which is located on 40 acres, into a bed and breakfast, where a chapel would reside. This would be a bride and groom’s dream come true – Signature Interiors – a distinctive, one-stop shop for weddings. Hopefully, we will hear more about this soon!

You can tell that the very charismatic owner loves what she does. When she speaks of her favorite part of her job, she says, “It’s like Christmas every day. With the gifts and flowers changing, you really get a sense of the ever-changing seasons.” Signature Interiors is unquestionably a physical representation and manifestation of the cycles of the year.

To make her boutique stand out, she uses different markets to find her unique gifts and furniture pieces, letting different items take her to places that she would never expect, from a design point of view. “Right now the current design trends are focusing on being eco-friendly. The motto ‘recycle, reuse, and refurbish’ is very popular right now.” Following that trend, Debbie has been finding vintage pieces and revamping those pieces and making them her own signature style. The new Signature Interiors, Flowers and Gifts store embodies Debbie’s philosophy. She says, “I want our designs to be as individualized as our clients.” This guiding force is shared by all of the experienced and creative floral and interior designers on staff.

So, whether you come to peruse their one-of-a-kind, well-crafted gifts and furniture or if you need a vision for your wedding, home or corporate event, visit their new and final location and experience this magical, unparalleled boutique in all its seasonal glory.
